Chapter 12: The new Berk and a Nightmare or a Memory

"Well, most of you" Gobber said pointing at Hiccup's metal foot "That bit is my handiwork with a little Hiccup flair threw in, think it'll do?"

"I might make a few tweaks" Hiccup said making all of the Vikings laugh suddenly someone punched Hiccup on the shoulder, it was Astrid

"That's for scaring me" Astrid said "What? Is it always going to be this was becau-" Hiccup as interrupted when Astrid kissed Hiccup on the lips making him forget his own name for a second

"I could get used to it" Hiccup said when the kiss break

Then Gobber gave Hiccup a new tail fin for Toothless, this one was red with a Viking symbol on it "Welcome back" Blake said

"Night fury!" someone yelled "And a Skrill!" "Get down", Toothless and Thunder made their way to get to their riders happy to see them

"So do you want a race all over the new Berk?" Hiccup asked to Blake who only laughed a little before saying "Do you really have to ask?"

Hiccup placed the new tail fin on Toothless getting ready for the race, Astrid was and her Nadder also ready and Blake was also ready riding Thunder and they flew up into the sky celebrating that the war against dragons was finally over

Later that night Blake was on his room ready to go to bed, Thunder was already sleeping next to Blake's bed

Blake laid down on his bed ready for a good night of rest...or that's what he thought

(Blake's Dream)

Blake was standing in an arena with a sword on his hand, in front of him there was an adult man with a hammer as weapon, the man attacked Blake but he rolled over to dogged it Blake was going to attack with his sword but the man reacted first taking the sword away from Blake

Blake counter attacked the man with a punch on his face stunning him, then Blake kicked the man on the chest and he used a dagger he had to cut the leg of the man making fall and also making him scream in pain

"And you are supposed to be one of our best warriors, pathetic" Blake said with a cold voice, then he walked up to pick up his sword the man was trying to get up but the pain on his leg didn't allow it so he stayed on the ground

Blake walked slowly with a smile on his face back where the man was who only was able to watch how Blake slowly reach him

When Blake was close enough, he lifted his sword ready to chop the man's neck off and...

Blake woke up taking fast and deep breaths, he sat down on his bed looking at his hands shaking in fear, he was sweating a lot even his left eye now useless only reflected fear

Blake put his hands on his head still with the image of the dream on his mind 'it was just a nightmare, just a nightmare, just a nightmare' Blake thought trying to calm himself down

With all of the commotion Thunder woke up and nudged Blake getting his attention "It's okay Thunder, it was just a bad dream" Blake said

"You can go back to sleep" Blake said but Thunder was still worried so he nudged Blake again

"You won't go to sleep until I go to sleep, right?" Blake sighed understanding the message and Thunder nodded

Blake laid down on his bed again ready to sleep with the comforting feeling that his dragon will watch over him

But a question appeared on Blake's mind "Was it really a nightmare or...a memory?"

Blake really hoped it was a nightmare and not a memory

A/n: Here it is my first story is complete, even if there are some mistakes, I'm really happy with the final product please comment any feedback is appreciated to help me improve in the future

And while you are there could you please tell me how would you describe Blake's personality, I had a vision of how I wanted him to be but I'm not sure if I was able to transmit the vision of my idea for Blake for the reader's perspective

For anyone who is still interested in Blake's and Hiccup's adventures I'm planning to make a sequel it will be called "A new boy in Berk: Riders of Berk"

I'm also planning to tell Blake's past on the sequel, that's another reason why I would like you to describe Blake because I have an idea for it and I'm not completely sure if it will work
