"How fun! I have something very interesting to tell you Minho!~" Chaeyong, all giddy, twirled and sat beside Minho who looked at her weird. "I heard something scandalous at the assembly. Fufufu about a little kitty named YN."
"What?" he almost growled. "What are you up to, Chaeyong? Don't dare mess with her." her step brother points a finger at her.
She turns shock with wide eyes but a smirk appears on her lips. "My~ don't tell me you like her too. She already has a lover and yet you and Seungmin are being like this?"
"Seungmin?"
"He confessed to her at the assembly. They were drinking at a balcony when I clearly heard him say 'I like you YN."
Minho sat there with his hands together and spaced off, thinking about what Seungmin did. Something was up, and it wasn't good.

I stop playing the piano and wrote down the lyrics I just sang.
Focused, working in my living room, I didn't even hear Felix walk in the kitchen wearing only his pants.
"Is that the side track? That's sick!" he says, then I hear the fridge door opening and glass clicking. "What do you want for lunch? We still got ingredients for a kimbap, or maybe you want to just eat out?"
"Kimbap! I don't wanna go out."
"Understood, kimbap it is."
Losing my focus, I distract myself to a different tone. A more sentimental tone that makes a sad song.
Until I noticed it, I wrote another song with a more lonely vibe to it.

I wrote it down quickly before I forget. I'm surprised I've been casually making up sad songs these days.
"What's going on here? That's a different vibe. You feeling good, babe?" Felix pops out of the kitchen and goes down to sit beside me on the floor.
"I know right? But I'm good, never better." I place my hand on his cheeks and peck his nose. "Especially with you by my side."
"Ayyyeee my cheeky cheesy little baby." he pinches my cheeks and swaying them side to side.
*Ring ring ring*
"Hold on Felix, there's a call." I pull away and reach for my phone.
An unfamiliar phone number appears on my screen. I stand up and go out to he balcony. Felix also stood up and went back to the kitchen.
"Hello? Who is this?"
"How's daddy's good little girl?" an annoying voice that I wish I could rip out of my memories.
Chaeyong. I'm not even surprised how she got my number.
"Why are you calling me?"
"Ouch, so stingy. I thought you'd be happy to hear from me this soon but oh well I guess you don't wanna hear the good news."
"What good news?" I sigh.
"Listen good and listen well, LN YN..." the way she said my full name got me in a mix of emotions. "I know something that can get you and your whole life up.side.down."
"What are you talking about Chaeyong? Look if this is some cheap prank, it's not funny." I told her serious.
"It's NEVER been funny, YN. And I'm not letting this opportunity to bring you down pass by me like the rest." her tone got higher and angrier.
What's this about now? What does she know?
"I know what you've been hiding from everybody, you bitch."
The hell she just call me?!
"Woah, now this is where you shut the fuck up. Who are you to call me a bitch?"
"Don't pretend to be all goody two shoes. You and Seungmin have been stabbing everyone in the back with your secret relationship. Especially your own boyfriend, how depressing and shocking it would be for him to find out that Seungmin likes you and you've stayed quiet about it?"
"What shit are you spouting now?! None of what you said is true."
"*click* I still like you YN *click* doesn't sound to be a lie, YN~."
Seungmin's voice! Wait...she recorded what he said?!
"This is absurd, Chaeyong. What do want from me?"
"I want you to give me back what I wanted from years back."
"And? That is?"
"Our partnership."
Partnership? What?
"We were supposed to be business women YN. We were supposed to run our families' business together and rank at the top of society! Rulers of the mass of business!"
That's it?! Is she crazy? She's-she's out of her mind!
"H-hold on Chaeyong. Do you mean...the thing we talked about as kids? Chaeyong! We were five for god damn sake!"
"You wouldn't understand YN! I dreamed for us! It was all I ever wanted, for us to rule the economy and become the most powerful women in the world. Is that so much to ask for? I thought we were good friends."
"You're right. I don't understand. Why would you threaten me like this? For a promise made years back when we were like babies! Chaeyong please grow up already."
"NO! IF YOU'RE SO DESPERATE TO SAVE YOUR PITIFUL LIFE COME GET ME! *Hangs up*"
"What! Chae- FUCK! THIS BITCH!"
*knocking*
Felix knocked on the glass door with a worried face. A look that said are you okay? all over.
I waved him a hand and a smiled.
Why am I nervous? There's really nothing going on between me and Seungmin. I shouldn't be worried. And she has no concrete evidence that Seungmin and I were ever together.
