I woke up to a knock on my door. I get up and open the the door seeing my little brother Henry."Henry? It's like 12 am? What are you doing up mom said we needed to be up early for our appointments." He hugs me."I found my mom!" He says jumping on my bed and pulling out papers."what?" I sit on the bed next to him as he continues explaining." I found her! Her name is Emma! Just like from my book! She's the savior! She going to break the curse!" Shit shit shit."Henry this says she lives in Boston." I say pointing to the paper."I have two bus tickets let's go now before she wakes up." I sigh."Henry I can't leave and neither can you." I pick Henry up and set him on the bed."because of the curse?" He asked."sure bud just go get some sleep you can sleep here if you want but we are not going anywhere." I climb back into bed resting my head on the silk (f/c) pillow case covering my body with the blankets."okay goodnight y/n." I sigh and climb back out of bed and to my closet pulling a small box I brought from our previous home. I pull out a small dagger and hand it to Henry."if your going then at least take this." I hand him the dagger and he excepts it and examines it closely."this daggers in my book!" He shouts."Henry shut up! You're going to wake up mom."I walk back to my bed."I know it's in your book." I sigh."how? Have you read it?" He ask I nod."yes henry I've read the book and I believe you, I know Emma will save us and make us remember, well them." I laugh trying to catch myself before I slip up."go save them Henry I'll be right here when your back." I say as I rest my head on the pillow and he uses my ladder to climb out the window. As I drift off to sleep.
Past/dream
In a land far far away there live a king a queen and two daughters. From the outside it looked as though they lived happily, but that wasn't the case for the poor youngest daughter. Y/n is the daughter of queen Regina and a farm boy but king Leopold doesn't know that and still much preferred his elder daughter Snow White, the daughter of him and his first wife. And regina well let's just say she disliked the child. The inocent child only a few years younger then snow came running into the castle after her ride with her horse."mother! Look!" She said tugging her mothers dress. Regina turned to the child and pushed her away."what is it child!?! Can't you see I'm busy!?!" She yelled."but mother.... I just wanted to show you what I made." Regina scoffed and said."I don't care what you made go bother your father." The child slumped her shoulders and walked up the elegant stair case and down the corridor to her fathers study. She walked through the doors to see her father writing."papa, I want to show you what I made!" She shouts scaring the king and he laughs it off."I'm sorry dear but I don't have the time right now, perhaps you can go show snow? I'm sure she'd love to see it.plus I'm sure she could do something about that dreadful outfit."The child nodded as she exited the room and went up another staircase and to her sisters chambers. She knocked once twice and then a third time when her sister opened the door."oh hello y/n." She said pulling the girl into her room."father told me to come here." She said as snow loosened the child's braid."oh did he? And why was that?" She asked combing through her hair."to show you what I can make." Y/n gave her sister a toothy grin and snow returned it."well then let me see." The child closes her hands and scrunches her nose. When she opens her hands a small blue butterfly flies out and lands on snows nose. "Y/n." She says smiling."that's amazing you can do magic!" The child smiles as she is hugged until her ladies maids ella and piper come to get her dressed for the royal ball,"lady y/n we need to get you dressed,and lady snow your mother wishes to see you at once." After that snow rushed to Regina's chambers as the maids walked the 15 year old girl to her room passing her mothers chambers only to hear what she least expected."I love you like a daughter snow." And her heart broke.

I jolted awake with a silent cry. I looked to my clock to see it was time for my shift at granny's. Knock knock."y/n get up your going to be late." Regina my mother shouts."coming mother." I say jumping out of bed and changing into my uniform. I run down the stairs and grab some juice from the fridge,"y/n. I need you to keep a close eye on henry." She states gathering her things."and why is that?" I ask finishing my juice."because his birth mother is in town and I don't want her around, he already thinks I'm the evil queen."I wash my glass and set it on the drying rack."but you are, so what's the point in lying to him?" I ask and she walk over and grabs my wrist squeezing it tightly."don't you dare question me, I am your mother you listen and obey." I nod as she lets go of my arm revealing bruises. I walk into the living room pulling on my jacket and see Henry."come on bud I'll get you your favorite from granny's." I say as we walk out the door."you know don't you?" He says."know what Henry?" I ask playing dumb." About mom and everyone else being from my book?" I laugh and shake my head."oh Henry I already said I believe you." He just looked at me."that's not what I asked, I asked if you knew and you avoided it. That's one thing I don't get." I look down at him as I continue walking."and what's that?" I say."how you are related to mom. I mean you aren't adopted and you aren't in the book so how?" I dodged the question by entering granny's and staring his breakfast."hey ruby!" I say giving her a hug.I walk into the kitchen and make Henry some pancakes eggs bacon and hot chocolate with whipped cream and cinnamon."here you go Henry." I say as I hear the bell ding and I turn to see a blonde woman in a red leather jacket walk in." Hello welcome to granny's what can I get you." Before she could answer ruby sets a hot chocolate with cinnamon down in-front of her."thanks but I didn't order this."ruby just laughs and points to one of our back booths and before I could stop her she embarrassed herself in front of our sherif."granny I've got to take care of Henry real quick and walk him to school I'll be back in around thirty minutes." I shout and walk over to Henry."don't you have school?" The blonde women says and he reply's with "duh I'm ten walk me." I but his shoulder."Henry be nice she is your mother after all." We both laugh.
