𝗰𝗿𝘆 𝗯𝗮𝗯𝘆 | 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗼𝗰 𝘅 𝗼𝗰

(𝟭𝟯) 𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗢 𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗧!

"I'm so glad you're okay." Baby huffed.

"Me too." Dustin smiled.

They made their way back into the house so everyone could be informed on what is going on.

Mike held up a paper. "Okay, so in this example we're the acrobat. Will and Barbara, and that monster, they're this flea. And this is the upside down, where Will is hiding. Mr. Clarke said the only way to get there is through a rip of time and space."

Baby furrowed her eyebrows kind of understanding what they're saying.

"A gate." Dustin said.

"That we tracked to Hawkins Lab." Lucas said.

"With their compasses." Jack said gesturing towards the group.

"Okay, so the gate has a really strong electromagnetic field, and that can change the directions of a compass needle." The twin boy explained.

"Is the gate underground?" Hop asked.

"Yes." Eleven whispered.

"Near a large water tank?"

"Yea."

"How do you know all that?" Baby asked fiddling with her necklace.

"He's seen it." Mike spoke up.

"Is there any way that you could... that you could reach Will? That you could talk to him in this..." Joyce trailed off.

"Upside down." El finished.

"Down. Yeah." Joyce whispered.

El nodded.

"And my friend Barbra." Nancy spoke up. "Can you find her, too?"

She nodded again.

The group sat around the table as there was a picture of Barb in front of El who had her eyes closed trying to find the two missing kids.

The light flickered a couple times as Eleven opened her eyes.

"I'm sorry." She spoke.

"What?" Joyce asked. "What's wrong? What happened?"

"I can't find them." Els voice broke.

Eleven excused herself to the bathroom as Baby let out a concerned sigh.

Mike spoke up. "Whenever she uses her powers she gets weak."

"The more energy she uses the more tired she gets." Dustin informed.

"Like she flipped the van earlier." Lucas spoke up as Jack nodded his head.

"It was awesome." Jack said.

"Wow." Baby whispered in amazement.

"But she's drained."

"Like a bad battery."

"Well how do we make her better?" Joyce asked.
