Chapter 3

"Shh!"

"Ooh! Mysterious past!"

As soon as the event finished, Eda was ready to book it.

"Eda! Where are you going?"

"Home to wash the Con funk off me."

"But can you not drag Valia with you? What if she wants to hang out here?"

"I personally don't care. But only my friends call me Valia."

"I'm not your friend?"

Navalia tried to look away from the sad puppy eyes that Luz was staring her down with.

"Mmm... ok yes, fine, you're my friend."

"Yay! Let's go have fu- oof!"

Before Luz could drag Navalia away for some forced fun, she bumped into Amity. Navalia took this chance to sneak away.

She smelled baked goods from the Baking Coven stand and decided to go in that direction. On her way there, she bumped into her friends.

"Ed! Em!"

"Valia!"

"Hiii!"

"What're you guys doing here?"

"We're supposed to chaperone our little sister."

"But we should ask you that. You never go to these things!"

"A smallish human made me come. So what's all... that?"

She gestured to a bunch of mercy the twins were wearing.

"We saw a small demon collecting the free handouts."

"Then we decided to do it, too! Wanna join us?"

"Absolutely I do."

"Yaaay!"

For the rest of the Covention, Edric, Emira, and Navalia went around the place collecting and/or stealing all the free stuff they could. They mainly stole food from the Cooking and Baking Covens.

When everyone was called to the arena for another event, they decided to watch together.

"Did you guys see the Snack Coven? They got some good shit there. Try these."

They shared food as the thing went down.

"Hey. Isn't that your sister down there?"

"Oh yeah. Is that the Owl Lady?"

"Who's the girl she's with."

"Oh. That's Luz the Human. Looks like they're gonna fight or something. Kick her ass!"

"Who are you cheering for?"

"I dunno. But hey, free entertainment!"

"Ha ha! Not wrong!"
