Tw: Violence.

The couple weave through the corridors, drawing little attention. Jules is largely taken aback by the legacy Fisk and Jameson are building together. The sight of seeing it up close is petrifying. It makes her skin crawl and re ignites the flames in the pit of her stomach.

Matt holds the door to the cafeteria open for Jules. Matt can hear a large grouping of people coming from there so he figures it will be the easiest way to mingle and carefully extract the information they need.

He can tell Jules is slightly nervous. It's the little things. The subtle clenching and unclenching of her fists, her jumpy heartbeat, her slightly off walking pace. He loops his pinkie finger around hers and whispers into her ear. "Don't worry, I've got this."

They sit at a table occupied by only one man. Matt squeezes her thigh under the table. "Hello, how's it going?" The man has a bushy moustache and beady eyes. "Hey, I haven't seen y'all around before."

"No, you wouldn't have we joined recently. Better late than never though, right?" The man nods.

"So, what's your story?"

"Well ever since I've got back from serving, the country's not the same. Everything is run by pious shits in the government that think they know better, but really, they're only looking out for number one." Matt grabs both of Jules hands. "So, me and my wife opened our eyes and decided to get on the right side of the war." The man slaps Matt on the back and laughs heartily. "Well, I'm sure glad you did man! Shit, I get it. The tax on my business got raised a bullshit amount so I was pushed out. I was left to fend for myself, so I came here."  The man rubs his hands together. "When we all have that serum running in our blood, we'll be unstoppable, and they'll have to listen." Matt hums in agreement. "About that I wanted to talk to someone about the ins and outs of it how it works and everything. One of the scientists that's not too busy." The man rests his fist against his chin and thinks for a few seconds. "Oh yeah, I know you can help y'all out. Jim. He's one of the junior scientists on the third floor. Lab 5."

----------------------------

Jules and Matt walk down the quiet corridor of floor three. Jules nudges him. "Hey, you did great down there, and sorry about the freezing up, it won't happen again."

"Don't worry about it, it's okay." Matt rubs her arm.

Jules knocks on the door of lab three. "Come in." a high-pitched voice calls out.

He's sitting at one of the tables, analyzing a specimen through a microscope. He looks young, early twenties. A mop of straight hair flops over his forehead. "Is this about the sign-up sheet?" He inquires. Jules shakes her head. "Me and my husband are new members, we were wondering if you could answer some of our questions about the serum." He swivels in his chair and smiles brightly. "Well, I sure can, it's just me down here for a while. I'm doing some off book work, so I definitely have some time to spare." Bingo. He's alone.

Matt reacts briskly. He kicks Jim in the legs and pulls him off the chair, forcing his arms behind his back. "Wait Wait! Who are you people? Please don't hurt me I'm only the scientists. You must be looking for someone else!" Jules crosses her arms. "No Jim, you're exactly who we're looking for." He whimpers. "Look okay, okay this job pays well, I'm not actively hurting anyone." Jules slam a fist on the table, making Jim jump. Matt tightens his grip around him. "Bullshit. You're helping make a drug, to put into the bodies of Fisk's pawns who will hurt a lot of people." Jules leans against the table. "So, here's what's gonna happen...You're gonna lead me and my partner to the drug supply area- "

"No! I'm not even allowed down there, I'm a junior doctor I don't have any authority there." Jules sighs and removes a pouch from her back pocket. "Well, you better use those big science brains of yours and make something up." She opens it and a sharp knife glimmer under the fluorescent lights. Jules twirls it skilfully between her fingers. "Because if not, I won't hesitate to cut you, slowly, carefully, and of course painfully." Jim's eyes dart from left two right, desperate to avoid eye contact with Jules. "I've seen her do it and trust me, it's not pretty." Matt comments. Jim gulps. "Okay, okay, I'll give you what you want." Jules smiles "Thank you for your cooperation."
