Man vs Man

I have lost my self-control,

I am staring down this black abyss,

There is nothing anyone can do,

There is a constant war inside my mind:

It's me versus me, that's always my biggest fight,

And, now, I just need you to be real.

I wish you were here,

I wish you were real,

I wish you were real,

I wish you were real,

But you will never be real,

My dreams are false,

My dreams are worth nothing.

I used to think I was strong,

But, the truth is, I just fed myself a lie

For far too long.

I'm so sick and tired of everything,

I only disappoint everyone,

And I need your hand to pull me out,

But I'll never learn, you're only in my dreams.
