Episode 11: All of Nothing

After a couple of weeks of bed rest and light training, [M/n] was up and moving ready to help. Not even two hours after Zane cleared him, albeit reluctantly, the ninja were chasing after a runaway Venomari. The soldier ducked into an alleyway, only to run right into Cole who had been guarding it.

"Going somewhere?" Cole asked, making the Venomari stumble back in alarm.

"Uh-oh!" The Venomari gasped. He turned to run away again, only to find Jay, Kai, and Zane blocking their way and a quick glance to the surrounding rooftops showed [M/n] on one and a large panther, Orion, on the other.

"Thought you could joyride through town and not be noticed, eh? Where's the last Fangblade?" Jay demanded.

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"You know what it is. The fourth Fangblade. When Pythor finds them all, he plans to unleash the Great Devourer," Kai stated, trying to jog the Venomari's memory. Behind him, [M/n] opened his Tessens, as Orion growled, flexing large claws.

"Oh, that Fangblade. Haha, you're too late. Pythor's already there now. He's probably already digging it up. If I were you, I'd start preparing for the worst, because when the Great Devourer is awakened, there will be nothing it won't consume!" The Venomari cackled as the ninja all shared looks of confusion and disbelief.

"Won't that mean it'll consume you too?" Zane pointed out. [M/n] watched in amusement as the realization dawned on the Venomari.

The soldier devolved into hysterics, "Ah! Please, you have to stop him. That snake is crazy. I don't wanna unleash the Great Devourer. I'm a snake, not food!"

"There has to be a way to stop Pythor. He can't be too far ahead, can he?" [M/n] questioned, jumping down to join his brothers as Orion followed.

"You're days behind him. There's gotta be something else you can do!" The Venomari shrieked. The ninja all collectively agreed to release the Venomari before heading back to the Bounty with the knowledge that Pythor was after the last Fangblade.

Once they returned to the Bounty and relayed what the Venomari told them, they began trying to come up with a plan. [M/n] sat on the ground with Lloyd resting in his lap, and Garmadon behind him.

"The Venomari's right. By the time we cast sail clear across the other side of Ninjago, Pythor will have already beat us to the last Fangblade," Nya explained, gesturing to map up on the screen.

"Oh, come on, guys. This is the last one. We gotta get it. We gotta think of something," Jay said.

"Hmm," Cole hummed, quietly to himself as everyone tried to think.

"Hey," Lloyd piped up.

"Huh?" Kai asked, turning to him.

"All we have to do is get one Fangblade to stop him. What if we take back the other three? Pythor wouldn't risk having them all on him. He's probably hidden them somewhere while he goes for the fourth," Lloyd explained, glancing back to [M/n] and his father, who both wore proud smiles. [M/n] privately thought the boy would be good at chess.

"It's so simple," Cole stated, facepalming.

"Huh, why didn't I think of that?" Kai grumbled, turning back to the screen.

"It can't be that easy," Jay complained.

"Incredible, Paidí^," [M/n] complemented, smiling down at the young boy.

"Easy? My algorithms suggest taking the other three would be far more dangerous. Pythor would undoubtedly have them protected by his top generals," Zane pointed out.
