I looked at Bryce in pure defiance. I stepped back at the sight of the makeshift club but still held my ground. "Im tired of your bullying bullshi-". I didnt get to finish talking as I felt the club smash into my jaw and throw me to the ground. Throw your leg out and side swipe him. I did as I was told just after falling to the ground and I was rewarded with a sickening smack of bryces head on the ground as I took out his balance. I stood up and looked down at my assualter for years. "Now do you understand why I told you to leave me alone today?!" He looked up at me and snarled" You werent the only one whos lost things." This caught me off guard. Bryce?? Losing things...you gotta be shitting me. He took my moment of hesitation to his advantage and threw his arm into the side of my knee, causing me to stumble and fall over and drop his club beside me. He stood up and picked up his club. "You actually hesitated to kill an opponent in combat, you hunters allways did have soft hearts." He chuckled and raised his club once again and stepped towards me with an evil smirk on his face. "And another one bites it off...BWAHAHAHA!!"...I scrambled back and found myself pressed up against a tree with no escape in sight. He swung the club down and I shut my eyes tight, waiting for the killing blow that never got to come. I heard a deep growl and opened my eyes to see a flash of black fur tackling Bryce to the ground. The wolf from earlier. Thats when I heard a female voice in my head. (Must protect mate!). So wait...the wolfs a female?. I saw the wolf yelp as Bryce smashed the club over her nose and her back away growling and standing between me and Bryce. Rienbyirn growled inside my head. Release me...we have to protect our mate. Hes a shifter and a warrior male at that. She won't last very long against him. But how?! Our mental conversation was cut short as I heard bones crack and snap sickeningly. I looked up and watched a gruesome transformation happen to Bryce. His bones snapping and reforming as he drops to all fours and unleashes an unearthly howl as he shifts into the biggest brown wolf ive ever seen, towering above the black wolf. Our wolf growled in response and launched herself at him..only to be caught mid-air by Bryces jaws and throws ruthlessly against a tree. She let out a yelp and went quiet. "NOOOOO!!". I screamed and growled before feeling a new power course through my body and my mind merge with Reinbyirns as ungodly waves of pain shot through my very bones and I felt them snap and reform. I fell to my hands and knees and felt my body elongate and form into a wolf. I felt....power. And I loved it. I looked and pounced at Bryce with the intent to kill him. We must save our mate. Agreed.
