"Okay. There we go," Bela wiped her forehead with the back of her hand.
"It looks good in here," Oscar looked around her condo.
"Thank you. And thank you for your help," she hugged her older brother.
"Of course. I love you, Bela."
"I love you too, Os."
"Between us," he looked at their mom, "I think Bela is a lot prettier than Iza."
She burst out laughing, "obrigada, Oscar."
"Sure. I only called you Iza because you liked it since he came up with it, but I preferred your full name. Bela is a lot better of a nickname."
"Thanks," Bela smiled.
"So what are you going to do now?"
"Well, in a couple of days, Amaury and I are heading to some vineyards in Alsace and Champagne. He says I haven't had real champagne yet," she laughed.
"Bela, is it a good idea to do another road trip with Amaury?" Ludy asked.
"What do you mean?" She looked over at her sister in law and tilted her head.
"You just broke up with Neymar. You literally were supposed to be walking down the aisle three weeks ago. Are you ready for another relationship?"
"I'm not romantically interested in Amaury. He's a good friend of mine. We've been friends for over five years. He just finalised his divorce last month. There's nothing going on."
"Bela, have you seen the way he looks at you?" Ludy pressed.
"Like a friend?" She folded her arms, "we're friends. Nothing more. Nothing less. Look, if you want to debate someone, go find Tessa. I'm not in the mood."
"Bela-"
She looked at her watch, "I'm late for my studio time. I'll see you later."
The dancer hurried over to the door and grabbed her bag. She rushed out the door and hurried to the stairs. Bela ran down them and rushed into the lobby. She smiled when she saw Amaury sitting in a chair on his phone.
"Désolé. I lost track of time."
"No need to apologise, mon amie. Ready to go?"
"Yes," she smiled.
