She doesn't know who she is nor where she comes from. She doesn't understand when someone is addressing her, and she can't say anything herself. Two men rescue her when she runs into a group of abusers. However, what are their own intentions?
Hatake...
"We have to move on, we're wasting time," Tekiro looked at the sky. "Are we taking her with us?"
"What?" Kakashi dropped his thoughts. "Ah, yes, yes. But you know, I think we should first send Pakkun to Hiruzen-sama with the information you got in Hofu. This should be reported as soon as possible: it may not be too late to organize a proper pursuit."
"Alright."
Kakashi cast a doubtful glance at the girl, who was sitting with her hands on her knees over the blanket, and looking around her senselessly, but after a little hesitation performed the Summoning Technique. The girl stared at the dog with interest.
"Oh wow, who is this cutie?" Pakkun inquired out of the corner of his mouth.
"Saved her from some gang..." for some reason, Kakashi was a little embarrassed. "Looks like she is mute... We don't know where she's from, so we'll have to take her with us to Konoha..."
"We'll see about that," the dog said confidently.
He walked up to the girl, who was already staring at him with all her eyes. Sat down and put his paw on her thigh brazenly.
"How's it goin', young lady?" he grinned.
The girl smiled hesitantly, but almost immediately stared at him again in amazement.
"It seems to me that you absolutely need to touch the pads of my paws. They are amazingly soft, I assure you..." Pakkun cooed.
Kakashi came over and sat down next to him.

"She doesn't understand you," he chuckled. "Don't bother."
"A girl is able to understand with her heart. Eh, beauty?" Pakkun glanced at Kakashi briefly and again stared at the girl obsequiously, while in the background, Tekiro was almost rolling with laughter.
The girl shifted her confused gaze to Kakashi.
"Nice chat, huh?" Kakashi raised an eyebrow ironically, hardly restraining from joining Tekiro: he'd never seen Pakkun literally flirting with someone.
"And you," the dog looked at Kakashi with displeasure, "are an uncouth lout, even with that 'Icha-Icha' of yours. You could have introduced us, actually."
"What's the point?" Kakashi sighed, but did what he was asked:
"Pakkun, Fero," he pointed first at the dog, followed by Tekiro, who was still laughing. Then he pointed to himself: "Inu," and stared at the girl inquiringly.
She merely shook her head in frustration, clearly understanding what was expected of her, but being unable to answer.
Kakashi suddenly had an idea. He rummaged in his bosom and pulled out a scroll. He then offered it to the girl, so she could write her name. She stared at the scroll for a while, then shrugged guiltily and shook her head again.
