━━━ "SEE, THE ONLY THING GOOD ABOUT BEING A GHOST IS WATCHING STEFAN BEAT DAMONS ASS."

I looked at Lexi sympathetically, who seemed to be taking the whole dead thing remarkably well. I was in the kitchen, making pancakes for Sammy and Griffin, adding chocolate chips since they seemed to be Sammy's favourite.

Stefan told me the day before he needed time to himself, and I was willing to give it, but not for two long. I knew how suffocating company could be in grief, but no one should ever be alone, hence why I was only giving him a few days.

"You get used to it pretty quickly."

"Says the person whos been dead for a thousand years," Lexi shrugged towards Henrik before attempting to pick up a pancake that I had placed on a plate. "God I miss food."

"It's barely been ten hours!" Joey laughed slightly and I snorted as I added some eggs to the next batch I was creating.

"Rue said she missed food five minutes after she died," Henrik pointed out in Lexi's defence and all eyes trailed to Rue who looked as though she was a deer caught in the headlights.
