The little lost one

Little brother?

~Trevor P.O.V~

I'm sitting in the car waiting for the man I compelled to bring me the doppelganger, the vehicle pulls up and he takes the doppelganger out of his car, and I tell him to put her in the trunk. He does as ordered when he makes way to my window he tells me that there was someone else with her, a kid. I couldn't just leave him out here, I'm not a monster. So, I told the man to put him in the front seat with me. He walks back over to his car and takes the kid out, I swallow the lump that formed in my throat, this kid has some serious power radiating off of him. He looks so young how can he have this much power, his hair looks like clouds, so fluffy I just want to run my hand right through it, his hair is so long I bet if he straightens it, it would be down past his shoulders. Once the man puts him in the front seat I tell him to come to my side, closer...closer...closer and when he's close enough I grab him by the neck and drain him of his blood. I wipe my mouth and start the car and get on the road about 15 minutes in the kid starts to wake up, how? I don't know, that drug was suppose to knock someone out for hours. He wakes up and looks panicked, I see blood trickle down his face and I have to fight back the urge to drain him. His blood smells different. It smells so sweet. It's so much harder to control myself than with other people. He sits up and wince and touches his forehead and when he brings his hands down and see's the blood he freezes... then he looks over at me.

"Who are you?" there's a bit of a tremble in his voice, letting me know that he's scared

"Don't worry kid I'm not going to hurt you-" I was going to continue when he interrupts me

"Then why did you kidnap me?" 

"It wasn't you who I wanted, it's the doppelganger" he looks confused for a second before something seems to click in his head and he looks to the back then back to me with a confused look

"Why would you want her" he sounds so confused it's adorable

"She's my ticket to freedom kid" I look over at him and see he's studying me then all of a sudden in one fast movement he puts him bloody fingers to my mouth making me taste his blood and my vampire nature comes out. I'm shocked. Why would he do that? He slowly moves his fingers back to his side and looks conflicted

"Your a vampire"

"... yea kid" I'm surprised that he knows about the supernatural but at the same time I'm not since he has all this power radiating off of him

"Are you going to drain me?" he ask with a frown on his face

"What no kid, no" him thinking like that breaks my heart and I don't know why

"Okay" he say's in a sudden cherry voice and starts playing with his hair. I'm confused? Why did his emotions just change all of sudden. At first he smelled like sadness and now he smells like happiness.

 "Can we get ice-cream" he says in a childlike voice, one he wasn't using before. Ice-cream? Is he serious right now.

"Umm were not near any shops kid sorry" he frowns but continues playing with his hair when suddenly his face lights up, he snaps his fingers, and a vanilla ice-cream cone pops up in his hand shocking me I basically serve on the road

"Your a witch" I say still shocked

"Uh huh" he says in a still cheery voice while licking his ice-cream

"...Are you okay?" all I get in response is a 'mhm'

We make it to the house (if you can even call it that) and I pull into a shaded area since I don't have a daylight bling. I go to the trunk and pick up the doppelganger who's still unconscious while the kid hops out the trunk still eating his ice cream, but now around his mouth is all messy. We start to head inside and I'm surprised that he's following me without a problem. He's just skipping behind me eating his ice-cream like he didn't just get kidnapped. I walk in still carrying the girl when she starts to wake up.
