It all started one morning early in July it was sunny in Detroit Michigan for the first time in awhile there was no clouds in the sky . when I got up I threw on the shirt I had cleaned over and over again for the last month just to have to wear it every day ,and a pair of shorts me and my sister shared (we practically shared everything). Casey (my sister) was still sleeping in the corner of the bed scrunched up in a ball like she always had slept a smile crept onto my face while I looked at her. Then I saw something, a little box it was very pretty it must have been wrapped carefully there was a little bow on top it said To:Alexis Brown

I peeked inside, just to see a bright light and my room disappear, to be replaced by a beautiful city, THE LAND OF THE FORGOTTEN as I read it on a sign to the left of myself! "Hi" said a voice behind me, I thought about replying by saying hi back but instead I turned around just to see who I was standing in front of . I saw a girl probably a year or so older than me," hi" she repeated " I'm Alice welcome to the land of the forgotten."So what are you doing here "Alice asked. "I don't know I replied. "She gave me a questioning look then smiled like she had been doing for the past 5 minutes she had been talking " Oh you must have been sent by the guardians ."Who are the "guardians " I ask in reply? They guard this land silly they send for you and you come that's how I got here too! So how do you leave the land of the forgotten I asked ? "Oh that" Alice bowed her head in despair " ummmmm well actually you don't ."
