A night
dark as a thriller,
your kiss my killer,
the stars onlooking,
my soul's flight booking.
Love me though I'm forsaken.
Love me like I'm not taken.
(Except I am, by only you, of course).
A day
drunk on golden nectar,
you haunt me like a specter.
I welcome you home,
for your eyes tell what's known
to Aphrodite, to me.
Last night
you had the look,
comfort of a good book.
Your affection for me swelled up,
could I really get enough?
You've got it all now, baby.
You rock my world? Now...maybe.
Last day,
to the very last one,
'cause we know we've won
ourselves to each other over and over again.
I suppose we're not that different in the end.
Spread your magical blanket of a mind.
You're as mine as mine can be, I find.
