Clumsy - EZ

Description: EZ's girlfriend falls in the clubhouse and he immediately starts fussing over her, which means they have to tell the club why he's being over protective.

I sighed, wiping my eyes. I'd slipped on something and fell onto the floor of the clubhouse. I forced myself to my feet as the templo door opened and EZ led the way out. He immediately rushed to my side and took the glasses I had in my hands in one of his and used the other to help me to my feet.

"Are you okay?"

I smiled up at him through my tears. "If being clumsy was a currency I'd be a billionaire."

He laughed at me as he sat the glasses on the bar and Cielo took them to clean them.

"You absolutely would. Sit down." He motioned to a chair near me.

"I'm fine E."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah," I said, wiping my eyes one last time. He held my face in his hands.

"What shoes are you- sneakers, good."

"EZ, I'm just not graceful. You know this."

"I know. I'm just worried about you."

"I'm okay."

He shook his head and looked me over one more time. "Just worried about you."

His hands moved down my arms and pulled me into a hug.

"People will catch on."

"We should tell 'em."

"Go for it."

Gilly noticed we were having a side conversation and yelled at us to stop keeping secrets. We both laughed a bit.

"Do you want to?"

"Go for it E." He nodded and took my hand.

"Alright listen up," EZ yelled, earning the clubs attention. "We have an announcement."

"She's pregnant," Angel said.

"Um, yeah actually. She pregnant. We're going to be parents."

Angel spit out the beer he was drinking. I don't think EZ has ever really grown up in his big brothers eyes.

"Congrats," Hank said, patting EZ on the back. The guys circled through and congratulated us. They even got EZ a few celebratory shots.

"How long do we have to prepare for another Reyes in the world?" Bishop asked.

"About 27 weeks," I said.

"She's due on November 3," EZ said. I nodded and he leaned over and kissed my lips.

"And EZ has memorized every parenting book he can get his hands on," I said.

"Already?" Coco asked.

I nodded.

"We've known for a while," EZ said. "And I need to be a good dad."

"Don't worry golden boy. I'm sure you'll have a perfect golden grandchild too," Angel said. He was obviously bitter. He'd just told Felipe about his child with Adelita and he only talked to EZ in attempt to piss him off.

"Ang-." EZ tried to talk to him but Angel took off out of the clubhouse.

"Give him some time to calm down," I said softly.

"We didn't say anything for this reason."

"I know baby."

I wrapped my arms around EZ and he relaxed into me.

"I love you."

"I love you too baby. And I love our baby."

I smiled at him and kissed his lips gently.

"EZ, we need you." He nodded and smiled a bit at me before running off with them. I went back to helping the girls.

"Congrats," Cielo said and they all pulled me into a group hug.

"It's not that big of a deal," I said.

"It absolutely is," Rosa said. I rolled my eyes and the four of us went back to work so Bishop wouldn't start yelling at us.
