Description: After serving 18 months in Chino, Angel gets out to find his old girlfriend working for his dad and carrying a kid.

"I'll be right with you," I yelled over my shoulder without looking at the door. I was working on a sign for Felipe and bouncing my daughter, Cielo.

"I'm looking for my Pops," Angel said. I didn't have to look at him. I'd know that voice anywhere.

"He stepped out for a moment. I think your brother called," I said. "Check the back?"

"When did you have a kid?"

"About ten months ago," I said.

"Shit," he said under his breath. "She-."

"I've only slept with one man Angel. I'm not the one who wanted to end things when you went inside," I said.

"I'm sorry about that. Didn't think it was fair to keep you waiting," he said.

I shrugged a little as Cielo fussed a bit.

"What's her name?" He asked, moving closer to me.

"Cielo," I said.

"It's beautiful. Just like her," he said. I had her in a baby carrier and was supporting her slightly with one hand.

"I should've told you Angel," I said. "Or let Felipe tell you."

"He knew?"

I nodded a bit. "Don't have much family. And working here he kinda figured out what and I just told him who."

"I want to be part of her life. Of your life," he said. I nodded a little as Felipe walked back into the shop.

"Angel," he said.

"Pops," Angel said. "Just stopping in to let you know Coco and I are headed to Stockton to handle some stuff. Gonna stop and see EZ while we're up there."

"Travel safe," Felipe said.

"I will," Angel said. "And you, (Y/N), we'll talk more when I'm home."

I nodded but he seemed to be wanting more.

"Do you want to tell your daughter goodbye?" I asked. He just stared at me, frozen. I moved to take her from the carrier I had her in while I worked and handed her to him.

"Hey little one. I'm your dad," he said. Felipe and I both chuckled at him as he teared up. I looked over at Felipe who just smiled a bit. I knew he liked to create as many good memories here as he could to try to wipe away the bad one.

"Hey, man, we gotta get-." Coco froze as he walked in the door. "Shit, who gave you a kid?"

"Hi Coco," I said with a small smile to the man. I'd known him from school and just around Santo Padre in general.

"Hi (Y/N)," he said. "You and my boy?"

"Before he went to Chino," I said. "That's our daughter. Her name's Cielo."

"Beautiful. Touching really. I love you both but man I don't want Bishop or Alvarez on my ass when we're late," Coco said.

"He's right my love. You should go," I said, taking Cielo back from Angel. "Trust me, she will be good with me and Felipe."

"Thanks for takin care of em Pops," Angel said.

Felipe just nodded and went back to work. Angel leaned down to kiss my lips as Coco continued to yell at him about needing to leave.
