I took a taxi and rushed to Kangnams house, I was terrified

As I knock on the door I fiddled with my fingers, wondering why my parents are there and wanted to meet me

The door opened revealing Kangnam, "why are they here!?" I whisper and shout as I walked inside

"It was sudden too, I was surprised to see them here, they heard from someone you came back to Korea for vacation"

I groan in frustration, "do you know why?-"

"You're here," I froze as Kangnam stood beside me and there my father appeared, I bowed to him and hung my head low

"Hello..." I say a little inaudible

"Shall we have a seat?" I followed my father to the couch as well as Kangnam

I saw mom and smiled softly at her as I met her eyes, as we all sat down it wa silent

Should I say something? What should I do?

I was nervous as hell to be in front of my father, "I heard you're doing well in Canada..."

I nodded and looked at my father as he had a poker face on

"How is that even possible?" I heard him chuckle, "I heard you're not in medical school as we wanted"

'That's what you wanted

I heard him deeply sigh showing disappointment, "you took a music course?"

I could feel Kangnam turn to me, no one knew I took a music course as my major, everyone thought I took up law

"I am disappointed, music? What on earth do you want to be? Are you trying to embarrass me!?" I flinch as a loud bang echoed in the room

Dad threw a book that was on the coffee table, "that's too much..." I heard my mom mumble

"You think you'll succeed? How can you provide for your future family, or for us! Your parents, we're retiring soon"

I looked down trying not to show the fact tears were already falling out of my eyes

"Why couldn't you be more like your brother?"

I stood up and looked at him angrily, "you think I want to be a doctor? Heck no!! I've put up with your sh*t!"

He looked at me with disbelief, "excuse me?-"

"You're abusive, you're rude, you're the worse father!-"

The loud sound of my father slapping me hard on the face was heard, I could hear mom gasp and Kangnam stood up 

"Dad you're being too much"

"I've been trying to be the perfect daughter that you wanted, I'm glad I left Japan, I'm glad I cut off my contact with you," I looked at him as he was glaring at me and I glared back

"I hate that I'm not perfect your eyes! I hate that people say I look like you! I hate everything about my father, you!" I screamed as I cried

"Do you even see me as your daughter?" I say I was sobbing hard, I felt like my breathing was unstable as I kept crying

"I'm not a perfect daughter in your eyes, and I won't apologize for that. Because how could I be a perfect daughter if you weren't the perfect dad"
