I scramble up and fall again trying to catch my footing. " What tha f--" I started. " not in front of the kid." He says with a smirk. " Don't you smirk at me!" I yell. He looks around and whispers, "Shhh. do you know how much your voice carries?". He stands and helps me up. When I get up I notice some people staring. "May I help you?" I say loud enough for them to hear. They look away, flushed. "Thought so." I mumble. "Wow, still so... feisty.", he says.
" Y-You shut up!" I say. I grab Natalie, put her in the cart, grab the chips, and go. As I'm storming out, I hear Zayn yell " Wait! Zo- I mean, Miss! You forg-" I didn't hear the rest. I was runnung with Nat by then. What's this? Tears? Why am I crying? He's nothing to you. You were nothing to him. He left you. Who does he think he is, trying to come back like this? "Why are you crying, Big Sis?" Nat asks me. "I don't know." I respond. It's the only thing I could think of. Besides how much I love him.
