Ok, so I'm taking the time to address this now simply because I don't pay attention to this story but I want to address the comments on the chapter "Jealousy"
First and foremost I am so fucking sorry omfg
I genuinely had absolutely no idea that "rat" was a slur used against Japanese people and I feel fucking awful about using it
The only reason I used the word is because at the time of writing that chapter and previous chapters, I was using it akin to "shithead" because I figured "rat" was a bit more polite than "shithead" but I've long since grown out of that and will 100% call people "shitheads"
Again, I am so so so fucking sorry and ashamed of myself for my own ignorance. I'll be going through the other chapters and changing the word "rat" to something else, thank you to those who have commented with the information, I apologize again
