Dance dance dance. Shake your body to the floor.
After everything the night before, the next day was calm. Each of them simply lazed around. Occasionally getting up to get a snack, or grabbing more of the overcooked raspberry pie. Which wasn't to bad. Could have been textured differently, but oh well.
The sun shone down on the pavilion, warming the area outside. Which was perfect for Riplash as he basked in it. Feeling the warmth under the metel as it touched his skin.
What would it be like if my natural scales could touch the sun? To feel it's warmth once again?
He asked himself. A common question he had, always circling his complicated mind. It was a question, and a hope, he will never find and respond to.
But he didn't dwell on it. He knew it would never happen, so why think about it?
Though...he did wish he could change things. One was convince his mother to stay away from the Sun Queen. Then he wouldn't have lost her. He wouldn't be doing this kind of work. He wouldn't have...this.
He scowled at his body. What one was once a free creature, trapped in this metel shell. From a free creature to a machine for death and turmoil.
It made his blood boil. He wanted revenge, he wanted it all to end. He wanted...
"Riplash?" A familiar feminine voice asked shyly.
He opened his eyes, seeing the vicious growth of vegetation around him.
"Hmm?" He asked, looming back at Raspberry. Her scales slowly shifting back to a calm green with pink spots.
"Moonstar made sandwiches. You hungry?" She asked, walking up to him. Plopping down on an empty patch of grass.
"Hmm...yeah I could eat." He hummed, standing up before looking down at her again.
"Sweet!" She smiled, popping back up to her feet before trotting back to the treehouse. He gave a small smirk as he watched her leave. Mostly Watching her hips sway back and forth. Clearly still sore fron what he did yesterday.
Happy gal.
He hummed, following behind her back to the house. The air was peaceful today, birds chirping through the bristling leaves. The calm sunlight dancing across his body.
Such a peaceful place. But even if it is so great here, he can't stay. He knew this, but wondered how long he could stay here.
"Riplash, hurry up!" Moonstar called from the kitchen window.
"I'll come at my own pace." He called back, pulling a muffled laugh from Raspberry.
"Ha ha." Moon said, rolling her eyes with a smirk before handing him his lunch.
"Pun intended." He winked, biting into the meat sandwich.
"We get it Rip."
"Definitely got it." Raspberry smirked, winking back.
He chuckled lightly though the food in his jaws. Not bad. He thought, tasting the mix of meat, bread and vegetables.
"So what do you plan to do now? Considering you recovered already." Moon asked, sitting down next to him.
He thought for a second.
"....I am going to look for the target. I need to know who he is." Riplash explained.
"Target?"
Shit.
Moonstar and Riplash looked at Raspberry.
