I glanced back at the screen. Dante had told me once about the incident, but he was pretty drunk when he told me.
"Yeah. I used to work in a form of Black Ops. I was an onsite hacker, but I was also there as a translator. We were in the middle east and we were ambushed at our base. It was kept pretty hush hush, but they had cooked up a new kind of flashbang. But it didn't temporarily blind me. There was some kind of chemical in the device. I lost my sight and my twin that day. He went for the second grenade. If he hadn't thrown himself on it, it would have killed the six others in the room."
I bit my nail and looked back at the screen to find that one of the sequences worked and it switched to another page. It looked like a desktop.
"Hey, it's changed. I'm looking at a desktop now."
"Good. You're looking at the main computer's desktop. You should be able to look at whatever they can in the main office."
"So I can watch video feeds?"
"Yes. Now, I have to pop out for a minute. I'll be back in ten," Dante said before giving a wave and ending the call. I cocked my head to the side and made a face before starting to browse. He didn't need to be anywhere; he just needed a minute.
Fanny cleared her throat uncomfortably and laid on her side, propping her head upon her elbow.
"Did you know about that?" Fanny asked uncomfortably. I hummed and opened a few tabs. I wasn't looking at anything in particular, just scanning through files. I opened one and doubled clicked too much, opening another file by mistake.
"Yeah. I found out last year. Hey, what is Daphne's Sector?"
"Daphne's Sector?" Dimitri asked.
"Yeah. I can see feeds for different parts of the place; the courtroom, throne room, meeting chambers, kitchen, yadda yadda. But I've never heard of Daphne's Sector."
"Click on it?"
I looked at Fanny with raised brows. "And how do I know that it's not a trap door?"
"True," Fanny said, "But why would they set that up in the middle of the sever, almost hidden?"
I clicked on it with a wince, praying that it wasn't going to royally screw me. But instead, it opened to a live feed of multiple rooms. I furrowed my brows and clicked on one of the screens and looked over the room. I'd been in that room before.
"I think that this is a hidden camera," I said quietly, but I felt a surge of excitement. "I think this is exactly what we need to pin this on Tasha."
"How so?"
"This is a feed in Tatiana's private chambers. That's her bed," I said turning the computer towards Dimitri. His face showed his surprise and he moved to look at the screen. Dimitri sighed a breath and looked at me.
"Wouldn't the Queen have known if there was a camera in her room?"
"Who knows?" I said while clicking on another frame and rewinding it to the day of the attack. It didn't take long for us to see what we needed. I looked up at Dimitri with a frown. I didn't want us to be right that it was Tasha for Christian's sake, but at the same time, it gave us enough proof for the Guardians to formally arrest her.

If I could express how surprised I was when Croft agreed to have an appointment with me, I don't think I'd have the words. When I said I had proof of who tried to a kill Tatiana, but didn't trust anyone else with the information, he told me he had an opening in two hours. It was enough time for me to shower and change into normal clothes and look presentable.
