Taehyung is at it again.

After the broken engagement he went through before, he thought that he had enough of the tears and shits. He indeed was engaged to his very own best friend almost two years ago.

Park Jimin was everything he could ever dream of. But things didn't work out when Jimin fell out of love and fell in love with someone new not long after they got engaged to each other.

Taehyung was not stupid. He noticed the sudden change of behavior of his fiance. He changed. Even how hard it was for him to let Jimin go but he didn't want to be an asshole and locked Jimin up with him when he didn't love him anymore.

What's the use of keeping someone who won't love you anyway?

That was how they broke their engagement. With mutual agreement. Even though it was a mutual agreement but deep down Taehyung was broken. Dying, to be exact. He couldn't sleep for a few weeks. He never wants to let Jimin go. He loved the latter very deeply.

He even swore to himself that he would never love someone as much as he love Jimin.

Life had been hell for Taehyung. He was still in contact with Jimin after everything. He didn't blame the guy though. Maybe he was never enough to start with.

Their relationship also started just because of the jokes between them both but things took turns and they fell. Well, at least for Taehyung he fell hard. Couldn't live a day without meeting his boyfriend.

A year into the relationship, he thought he was ready to take another step. So, on that one beautiful night, he knelt on his knee and proposed to the love of his life. He couldn't be happier when the smaller guy said yes.

They had known each other for years. Jimin was always there for Taehyung and vice versa. At one point, they were inseparable. They went through high school and college together. Even when Taehyung pursued his dream as an artist, Jimin was there with him too.

Jimin had always been his muse. The motivation he needed to continue creating his artworks. But now that his muse was gone, he couldn't even bring himself to do arts again.

Not only did he lose his fiance, but he also lost his source of money. He had been living off the arts he made as commissions but after the breakup, he just couldn't do it anymore. So, he stopped.

It wasn't a lie when he said his life was a living hell since then.

However, a year and a half had passed. He thought he was over that now but he got an invitation from Jimin last week. A fucking wedding invitation.

He stares at the piece of paper for so long. He knows Jimin means no harm but goddamn why it's still hurt? It should be him with Jimin now not some guy named Min Yoongi.

He is happy for Jimin though, that he finds his happiness. He wishes that he can do that too.

Maybe he can.

That is how he finds himself creating a Tinder account out of nowhere that night. He tells himself that he is now ready to move on. So, meeting someone new wouldn't be bad, right?
