When Jaune clones himself, he liken's it to watching several monitors in a security room all by himself.

Jaune share's his senses with his clones and vice versa, so what the clone's think, hear, see, smell, taste, touch, and feel, he experiences as well. That's why Jaune had trouble mastering this technique as it was extremely hard when he had several senses assault his body and mind. Now though Jaune is alright even if he had to make several clones. Even if all of them were to experience equally different phenomenon at the same time, he's confident that he can keep his cool.

Ruby caught up to Weiss after several moments, calling out her name. "Weiss!"

"What?" Weiss turned around with a scowl on her face.

"What's wrong with you? Why are you so mean?" Ruby asked with growing frustration.

"What's wrong with me? Why I am so mean? Heh, It's because all you've been is a nuisance to me. You're supposed to be the leader, then act like it!" Weiss said while still scowling.

"What did I ever do to you?" Ruby asked, now with a visible frown on her face.

"That's just it - you've done nothing but act like a child ever since we first met! You don't deserve your position!" Weiss' said to Ruby, letting her irritation and frustration speak for her.

Ruby stepped back, a little hurt from Weiss' words. After gaining her voice she asked, "Weiss, where is this coming from? What happened to working together? I thought you believed in working as a team?"

"Not when that team is being led by you. I've studied and trained under the best instructors and professors Atlas has to offer. And frankly, I deserve better than to be led by a fumbling child. Ozpin made a mistake." Weiss said to Ruby before turning around and walking away.

Ruby tried to reach out to her but dropped her hand when she heard the last part of what Weiss said. Ruby just stood there dejectedly as she watched Weiss turn a corner and leaving her sight.

"Hmm.. are you alright Ruby?" One of Jaune's clones said after watching Weiss walk away and leaving Ruby to stand alone the hallway.

Ruby was surprised when she heard Jaune's voice and turned towards him. Jaune looked at her and saw her on the verge of tears, softly offered her a hug, one that she returned gratefully.

"Is she right, Jaune? Did professor Ozpin make a mistake?" Ruby asked her first friend in a small voice.

Jaune let go after a moment before flicking her on the head, surprising her, "Ozpin's one of the greatest and wisest huntsman on Remnant. Do you really think the headmaster of the most prestigious academy in Remnant will make such a mistake?", Jaune asked while smiling slightly.

Ruby stood straight when she heard Jaune, after a few moments, she shook her head and asked, "What do you mean?"

"Ruby, it's only been one day. No team exactly becomes the best of buddies in one day. What do you expect when a bunch of strangers with different backgrounds get grouped up and expected to work together? Of course you'll get differing opinions. You just need to be understanding and be patient, especially as you're the leader. The title of team leader isn't something you carry when doing missions and fighting grimm, it's a badge you wear constantly. Because if you're not performing at your absolute best, then what reason do you give others to follow you?" Jaune offered a still silent Ruby.

Seeing that Ruby was still silent, Jaune decided to give one final advice.

"Being a leader isn't easy, you realize that as a leader, you're responsible for your entire team. And that if there's a weakness in a team, it's your responsibility to take care of that as the leader." Jaune finished with a smile.
