Chapter 15: Lesson

"Bold, new approach. I like it!" Proclaimed professor Port as looked on.

Jaune and others watched with excitement and growing worry. They're getting worried about how Weiss is being thrown around.

"Come on, Weiss! Show it who's boss! Beat it for team RWBY!" Ruby cheered on.

Weiss, while still holding on, glared at Ruby, only for the Boarbatusk turn it's head and rip the sword out of her grip. The rapier was thrown out several meters away, far away from Weiss, who was sent back by the grimm's tusks.

"Oh-ho! Now that your weapon is away from you, what will you do?" Port asked from the sidelines, intrigued by what the young heiress will do.

Weiss, who was still reeling from the hit, looked up just in time to see the Boarbatusk charging at her again, and rolled to the side just in time. The desk beside her got trampled and was crushed by the Boarbatusk. Weiss looked around and rushed for her Myrtenaster, taking it into her hands.

"Weiss! Look at it's belly, there's no armor on it! Go for-" Ruby tried to say to Weiss before being angrily rebutted by the white haired girl.

"Stop telling me what to do!"

Weiss's words hurt Ruby, who felt it was unfair to be rebuked so harshly when she was only trying to help. She jumped a bit when she felt a warm hand softly rub her head. Looking up, she saw Jaune, smiling warmly at her. Seeing his smile made her feel better and she continued to watch the match again. This time though, she chose to refrain from commenting again, still feeling a little bitter from before.

While Weiss's attention was om Ruby, the Boarbatusk leaped high into the air and rolled into a ball, spinning rapidly before landing on the ground, consistently gaining speed before launching itself onto Weiss.

When Weiss notices the rolling Boarbatusk getting closer and closer, she used one of her blue-white circles to block the incoming grimm. Once the grimm's charge was stopped, Weiss leaped onto the now black snowflake before using Myrtenaster, to stab the beast in the stomach. Weiss watched the Boarbatusk squeal and fall silent, before she sighed in relief, slinking down because of her exhaustion from the battle.

"Bravo! Bravo! It appears we are indeed in the presence of a huntress-in-training! Though I'm afraid that's all the time we have for today. Be sure to read in advance the assigned subjects to you, and continue to stay vigilant! We never know when a grimm may attack. Alright, class dismissed!" Said Port to the students before leaving the classroom.

Weiss, who stood up a moment ago, grabbed her things and glared at Ruby before walking past her teammated towards the exit. Ruby, wanting to know what she did to receive such treatment from her partner, stormed after her.

"Sheesh.. what's her problem?" Yang asked, somewhat pissed at the young heiress for being so harsh towards her little sister.

The remaining members of team RWBY and JNPR looked at each other before quietly walking to the exit, with Jaune trailing behind several steps. After thinking for a moment, he quietly and stealthily detached some of his aura, using [Presence Concealment], and sending it towards Weiss and Ruby.

Once sure that no one's paying attention, the detached aura divided into two parts before transforming into two Jaune Arc's.

The aura clones of Jaune then proceeded to follow quietly behind the two arguing girls, using their [Presence Concealment].

Jaune, mastered aura cloning several years ago after having reached a certain limit in his aura manipulation. When Jaune clones himself, It's like taking a piece of his consciousness and using it to manipulate the aura created body. It's like having multiple bodies with only one brain. It was extremely hard to master, which Jaune only completed because he finished his saint body, which greatly enhanced his brain capacity and strength.
