Ch 7: An Argument Breaks

Lapis: "Alright so who's the new person?" She looks over to the counter where Isaac is sitting and sees Jasper

Lapis: "Y-You?! What are you doing here?!" She had her water fists out and tried to attack her, Garnet and Amethyst were holding her back

"Lapis no! Stop!" 

Lapis: "Steven she's the reason why I was trapped under the ocean, and why M-malachite happened!"

"I know what she did was wrong she wasn't thinking!"

Lapis: "She wasn't thinking!? She knew what exactly she was doing!" Jasper  looked guilty

Jasper: Lapis I know I made big mistakes in the past and I understand that you choose not to forgive me but I want you to know that I'm sorry."

Lapis: Sorry? Sorry?! I don't want your apologies! I want to shatter you what you did to me!"

Garnet: "Lapis you need to calm down"

Lapis: "But she-"

Garnet: "That's enough what she did was wrong, yes but you can't live in a world of hate forever that's not you." seeing that this is true she just yelled in anger and ran to the door and slammed it. Wincing at the loud noise

Isaac: "Ah shit I'll go and get her."

"Issac are you sure? Lapis has gone through a lot I don't know if you can calm her down."

Isaac: Don't worry Steven I know what I'm doing."

"If you say so good luck Issac."

Isaac: "Thanks." He walked to the door and opened it. I just hope Issac can calm Lapis down, Jasper sighed

Jasper: "I wish I can go in the past and change my actions."

Garnet: "Jasper it's not your fault you didn't even know what our intentions were."

Jasper: "I know. But, I wish I did, so that I didn't have to hurt anybody else, I hope Lapis can forgive me soon..."

"Me too I just hope Issac can find a way."

Isaac's POV

I walk down the stairs looking left and right no luck, shit this isn't good. I look down and notice footprints bingo, I start slightly jogging and made my way to the city the trail of the footprints ends here where did you go Lapis? Looking around my surroundings, I look to my right and notice Lapis on the hill. I started jogging up the hill when I reached her, she had her knees tucked and her eyes had tears in them.

Lapis: "What do you want Issac did the others ask you to get me." she said facing me away

"No, I came here by myself."

I walk over to her and sat down with her she seemed a little nervous

"Lapis why did you freak out when you saw Jasper? It sounded like she did something horrible."

Lapis: "That's because she did Isaac. Before you were here she was so obsessed with fusing with me we were strong together at first I liked it... but at the time she was keeping me trapped and didn't want to let go of that obsession..."

"Sorry to be an idiot but can you explain what "fusing" is?" She nodded and wiped the tears off her face.

Lapis: "Y-yes it's where two or more gems fuse forming into one, it can be a giant form or a human-size form."

"Oh that's pretty confusing but back on track, you're not the only one who's been trapped for a long time." Her head perked up "

Lapis: "Y-you have? H-how did you get trapped?"  I sigh

"Long story but I'll start from here, there was this man named Tideman who captured me and trapped me, he ran experiments and stored codes in my head."

Lapis: "Issac... I'm so sorry what you had go through..."

"Thank you Lapis now, come on we don't wanna worry the others you think you are ready to go and forgive Jasper?" she looked hesitant and sighed.

Lapis: "I'll try, and thank you, Issac."

"You're welcome now let's move." we both get up and start walking down the hill and back to the house. As soon as we reach there I open the door

"Back." the Crystal Gems lifted their heads in the direction we came in

Steven: "Hey Issac! Did you calm Lapis down?"

" Yeah I did Lapis do you have anything to say to Jasper?" I said looking at her

Lapis: "I do. Jasper, I forgive you for what you did to me, but It'll take some time for me to trust you." Jasper looked shocked at hearing this

Jasper: "L-Lapis thank you I'll never forget this," she said looking down.

Steven: "Yay! We fixed the problem oh! And just in time for the together breakfast! Hope it doesn't turn out like last time."

"Wait last time? What happened last time?" He nervously chuckled

Steven: " it's a long story."
