"he was used to taking up responsibilities, he grew up that way that's why it was really hard for us sometimes to see him blaming himself and as you know now it was hard for us to pull him out of that self-blame dimension of his and I think it was even harder now since it's concerning you"

"me?" Sean asked confused

"yes you, as I can see the only relationship you have right now is teacher-student relationship right?" Nathan look at him and he just nodded feeling a little hurt by just thinking the only way to describe their relationship now is by that way indeed

"if you were in his situation and one of your students were kidnapped and got beaten in your place what would you feel?" Nathan ask Sean didn't answer he just look down again and bit his lip

"worst" Sean whispered

"if I'm being honest, that's what he's been feeling this past days, he always takes care of you, he rarely takes care of himself, every minute of the day that you are not opening your eyes is slowly killing him" Nathan said as he continued to look at Sean sadly

"I'm sorry" Sean can only voice out

"don't be I told you I'm not telling you this for you to feel guilt or sorry I'm telling you all of this because I want your help" Nathan explained which made Sean look up to him again

"help? Me?" Sean asked

"mn, you are the only one who can only pull him out in that dimension now you see... me nor his brother can't do it we've already tried a bunch of times.... now we can only rely on you" Nathan

"I know this is too shameless of me to ask but please help us, if this continues I... I can't even imagine what will happened to him" he added almost whispering the last part of his sentence

'if only it was just a simple self-blame' Nathan thought sadly

"I'll go check on him again and get you meal you need to take your medicine" Nathan immediately excused himself before Sean can even utter a word

'how can I help him?' he ask himself while he look at the view outside 'just how strong do you think you are to carry the burdens that you shouldn't have?' 'when will you start giving more importance to yourself Darcel?' Sean was lost in his thought that he doesn't hear the person walking towards him

"earth to Sean hello" Nathan said again as he got no response the first three times he called him

"oh god... sorry I was thinking about something" Sean apologized

"eat now" Nathan just smiled at him

"Thank you" Sean thanked before he started eating

"how about him? Is he still not awake?" Sean ask after finishing the food in his mouth

"he is but I made him stay in bed for the time being he also needs rest and his wound isn't healing properly if that continues he may suffer from infection" Nathan sighed

"wound? Is it serious?" Sean asked worried

"he got shot in his shoulder but no worries it just graze his skin and compare to your wounds and injuries it's nothing" Nathan answered

"then why didn't it healed yet?" Sean

"I told you he refused to have a proper rest" he sighed again
