Y/N is a Y/R with a small family. She came from a single parent home. All she had was her mom and 4 siblings if you don't count her grandmother and the rest of them. Her mom never really got along with the rest so she never really counted them.
Today Y/N was on her way home from the library. Y/N is in college and while she didn't exactly love it she was ready to do what she could to achieve her dream of being a radiologist. Little did she know she would never achieve that dream.
As the thoughts of her next assignments were going through her head, the indicator at the intersection told her to cross. She slowly began her walk as the indicator flashed with a timer. 30...29...28..
As it was flashing traffic that was supposed to be stopped at the light erupted with noise. The driver of a semi truck was dozing off and by the time he realized that traffic had stopped he stepped on his brakes too late, trying to bring the truck to a halt but all it did was slide, pushing cars and trucks forward while burning rubber.
Y/N lost in thought didn't realize what was happening and when she finally did look up all she saw was the truck skidding towards her..20...19..18
Everything seemed to move in slow motion for her. All that filled her vision was the bright reflective container of the semi truck's load. She saw her expression of shock as she heard the familiar sound of the beeping timer that indicator had...17...16...15
