The next day Erica was lying in bed as Stefan was sitting in a chair and Elena had her head on Erica's belly. She enjoyed having a baby niece or nephew on the way but she was scared that the little one would be born in a dangerous world.

"So let me get this straight. Your ex is a vampire who tried to kill both you and Elena, and that only you and Damon knew him," Stefan says 

"Yeah we had to confirm it first before actually telling you two which didn't come out how I wanted it to be. Damon knowing is only because I wanted him to know and he had found out when he wanted me to bring the compass to him," Erica says 

"Well then," Stefan says as he brings out a box full of vervain bracelets and some plain vervain "I brought some vervain for you, Jenna, Jeremy, and Elena  along with some bracelets for friends.

"wow so much to remember" Elena says sitting up

"Tell me about it," Erica says 

" Well with Andrew in town it's better to be safe then sorry. Just stick together you two we don't know what he wants and who he's with," Stefan says 

Later that evening the doorbell rings as Elena head opens the door to see a guy with a pizza box as Erica gets the table ready to eat. Erica looks up from what she was doing to the pizza man in the house before heading out. There was something strange about the man but what?

The next day at school Elena and Erica are walking with Caroline giving her a vervain Necklace. 

"it's so pretty. Thank you. God it'll go with like everything but what's the occasion," Caroline asks 

"no occasion just thought it would be a nice gift" Elena says 

"A lesbian friend necklace because were freaky that way," Caroline says as she puts her stuff down on a table with the twins beside her. 

"Your our best friend Caroline. Friendships important" Erica says as Caroline smiles and nods before looking at Elena. 

" okay but why are you being mushy Elena" she asks 

"Your avoiding me and I want to talk about what's going on between you and Matt" Elena says 

Erica sighed before heading to class while Elena talked with Caroline. She didn't want to be any drama between Elena and Caroline so she just headed to class. 

Later at the grill, the twins were talking with Bonnie on how they were adopted. 

"I can't believe you two are adopted. I never saw that coming" Bonnie says 

"And it just keeps getting weirder" Erica says 

"We looked at our birth certificates. They have that Miranda and Grayson Gilbert are our birth parents. It doesn't make sense" Elena says 

"You two should ask Jenna." Bonnie says as the twins groan while she smiles at them before taking one of each of their hand "Look the Gilbert twins I know would want the truth no matter good or bad also you two just found out that Elena's boyfriend and boyfriends brother is a vampire so unless your birth parents are aliens how bad could it be.
