Movie night ended a few a hours ago after almost everyone called it quites at the third movie claiming they've had enough of marvel superheroes for one day which Diego thought was preposterous. But soon followed suite and decided it was infact past his bedtime and that he was going to miss his much needed beauty sleep.
Which brings me back to me sneaking out of my room trying my best not to wake anyone up. I'm really thirsty.
After 10 minutes of contemplating whether I stay put and just die of thirst or get up and go get a cup of water.Honestly I'd prefer the latter because my throat is really starting to hurt right now. As I ventured my way to the kitchen in a quest for cup of water.Before all this I was sitting in my room staring at my plain walls glancing at the clock it's 3:25 it's only been 4hours since I came back to my room and I've been unable to sleep since. I let out a not so quiet hoarse cough clearing my dry scratchy throat.
I held my breath closing my eyes. I hope I didn't wake anyone up.
As I made my way, I heard shuffling I shrugged it off thinking nothing of it.
I walked into the kitchen found the door slightly adjured which was weird because the door's always closed. Maybe someone forgot to close it. I thought.
I decided against switching on the light because it's a quick in and out thing and mainly because I don't know where the switch is.Besides the moonlight is already shining through so I can see, well somehow.
I looked around the kitchen opening up cupboards until I finally found the cups which so happens to be on the top shelf which is a little to high for my 5'4 self..just my luck. I sighed getting on my tippy toes trying my best to reach for the cup. I huffed and tried again I was almost there when a voice startled me. "Do you need help farfallina?." The deep voice asked. I shrieked jumping back when the light went on.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you." Alejandro apologized I raised my eyebrows in surprise. "Oh no ,no it's fine." I assured tucking a curl behind my ear.
"Well?"he raised a brow and i glanced at him confused. "Do you need help." He stated gesturing towards the cupboard.
"Oh uhmm yes please" I replied quickly moving out of the way. He reached over with ease handing me the cup. "Water? " I gave a small nod as a response.
"So what are doing up so late? " He asked opening the fridge handing me the bottle of water.
I could ask you the same thing.
"I was thirsty and couldn't sleep, you? " I replied fiddling with my fingers.
"Same" he replied.
"How long have you been sitting here? " I asked confused because i didn't hear him come in .
