Into Twilight

*Ruby's pov*

After Roman disappeared I was immediately taken to the police station by Glynda Goodwitch assistant Headmistress and combat instructor at Beacon Academy. Once there I was taken to an interrogation room and told to wait.

'Man uncle Qrow was right she is scary.' I thought as I suddenly felt like something bad was going to happen.

*over the forest of west Vale Jaune's pov*

Its been a few hours since we left and I looked over to see Amber still asleep. Smiling I wrapped my arm around her causing her to snuggle into my side. But the peace didn't last long as the Bullhead suddenly rolled to the left tossing Amber and I out of our seats. "Aahhh!" I scream and Amber squeals in shock. "Qrow what's going on!?" I yell as the older man stumbled in trying to keep his balance.

"Some Grimm are attacking the ship but they look different then the usual kind." Qrow said as I got up and ran to a window to see seven different humanoid creatures attack the ship. Two were black like most are but had brown wings and goggles, while three were purple and had a pirate theme wearing blue and white striped bandana while two more were a dark red with horns looking slot like gargoyles.

"shit." I curse as I opens the side hatch and pointed Kingdom Key at one of the pirate heartless. "FIRE!" I shout launching three mid-sized balls of flame knocking the pirate away. "STRIKE RAID!" I yell following up my first attack by throwing Arcs Light nailing both Air Soldiers and one Gargoyle causing all three to disappear in puffs of smoke releasing three pink hearts.

"Kid what are those things, because last I checked Grimm don't just burst into smoke." Qrow asked as I the remaining Gargoyle and Air Pirates circled the Bullhead before the gargoyle turned into a wisp of blue flames heading into the ship.

"Look out!" I yell rolling towards Amber as she held onto one of the metal bars while Qrow shifted into his bird form to try and destroy the Air Pirates. "Amber give me some lightning!" I ask as she took out her staff.

"on it!" Amber yelled twirling her staff around her body generating some sparks of yellow before slamming one end onto the floor sending arcs of lightning towards the red heartless shocking it causing it to shake and fall to the floor.

"Blizzard!" I shout summoning several shards of ice impaleing the Gargoyle freezing it to the floor of the bullhead. "Lets end this!" I say earning a nod from Amber as the bullhead tilted right avoiding a dive bombing Air Pirate before leveling out allowing amber and I to get our balance back and seeing the ice begin to crack.

"Jaune!" Amber yelled getting my attention to the window only to see both Air pirates attacked the engines.

"Where's Qrow at!" I yell as the engines began to smoke causing us to crash into the forest. "shit! HANG ON WIND!" I command as a barrier of air surrounded Amber as I got tossed forward slamming into the wall. "Gahhh!" I growl as the bullhead skidded to a stop. "Jaune!" Was all I heard as I blacked out.

*Amber's pov*
As the barrier Maine gave me blocked the debris from hitting me I watched as Maine as ragdolled around the cabin as we fell out of the sky before seeing him slammed into the wall as the bullhead stopped its fall and landed in a clearing. "Jaune!" I yell making my way over to him and grabbing his bag and to my surprise wasn't destroyed and nothing broken inside it. Throwing his arm over my shoulder I carry him out and prop him against a tree before grabbing a green bottle and opening it. 'It heals wounds so does unconsciousness count as a wound?' I ask myself as I poured half the bottle into his mouth before seeing him swallow the liquid. "Jaune?" I ask not seeing any changes before seeing the familiar green glow and smiling.
