"Shut up! I shouted at Engineer Marcus.

"Gago talaga 'to," he whispered to himself.

"Fuck! Why did she leave me like that?!" I yelled and throw the bottle on the wall.

Nabasag iyon at nagkalat sa sahig. Jake glared at me but I remain void of no emotion.

"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Why did she fucking leave me?!"

"Pang-ilang beses mo na 'yan tinanong, dre," Jake mimicked but I ignored him.

"Putang ina!" I cursed and pulled my hair stressfully. Damn! Where's my wife?!"

"Oh my! You're so fuck up, Trevon!" si Ellai na kararating lang. "Clean yourself!

I boredly looked at her.

Ellai sighed deeply before sitting on the space beside me. She's pregnant and she looks stressed. Ellai said last day that maybe, she was the reason why my wife chose to leave me but I consoled her and told her that she was not.

"I am sorry, it was really my fault. I talked to tita Stacey and she told me that Steris thought that you are the father of my child," she said in a lower tone. "I am sorry, Trevon. I wished, I never asked a help from you, hindi sana umabot sa ganito."

"No," I said and shook my head. "It wasn't your fault, Ellai.

The time went fast from that day. Days, weeks and months had passed but still no sign of my wife. No one knows her whereabout. I paid a lot of men just to help me find her but.. six months had passed, she never came back. She disappeared like nothing...

"You looked terrible, Engineer," Engineer Pablo commented when our paths crossed. "Bigung-bigo sa pag-ibig, ha? Focus sa trabaho ka muna. Hayaan mo, babalik 'yang asawa mo."

"How can we be so sure?" I asked bitterly.

I went to my wife's coffeeshop after that just to distract myself from thinking of her. I poked what inside my cheeks using my tongue while staring at the ceiling. I am sitting on the seat right now, relaxing my mind.

I shut my eyes. "I hoped, I am okay right now. It's so very hard for me to accept that she left." I scoffed. "Tss... Why am I so damn coward? Fuck! She's even pregnant! Shit! This is all my fault!"
