"So, are we going to talk about what just happened?" (Y/n) asked the three boys.

"No, we are not." Ace told the girl.

All four of them were now at Dadan's shack. They were sitting on the floor in a circle.

"Are you sure about that?" The girl tried to keep asking the freckled boy. Teasing him.

"I am telling you to shut up and move on!!" Ace yelled at her, blowing up with frustration.

"Don't yell at her!!" Luffy said

"Yeah!! Don't yell at me!!" (Y/n) yelled at Ace

"I think we should all calm down and analyze the situation." Sabo told the group, trying to make everything settle-down so they could try to make sense of the situation.

"It's all her fault!!" Ace yelled

"My fault?! I didn't do anything!!" (Y/n) yelled back

"You were singing that stupid song!" Ace told her

"I didn't make you do those things!! I was just minding my own business." (Y/n) kept defending herself

"She is technically right; we did that on our own. Well, kind of." Sabo spoke

"It felt more like we were doing whatever you said." Luffy added to the conversation

"(Y/n), could it be that you have some hidden powers?" Sabo asked

"As if! If I had any powers, I'm sure grandma would've told me." (Y/n) told the boy

"The only other explanation could be.. a devil fruit..." Sabo told them

"Huh!?! No way she has a devil fruit!" Ace inserted himself back into the conversation

"It's only a hypostasis." Sabo said

"Well...." (Y/n) said in a small voice, gaining everyone's attention.

"What? What is it?" Ace asked

"That day in the woods... I did eat a strange fruit just before you three found me. It tasted awful, and after that is when I had the fever." (Y/n) explained

"So you are telling me that not only is the crybaby a devil fruit user, but now little 'I wanna be a stupid marine' also has a devil fruit!!" Ace yelled in frustration

"HUH?!! Who are you calling stupid marine?!?!" A sudden voice yelled from outside of the cabin. Then the door burst open and the mysterious owner of the voice came thru. It was non other than Garp.

"Garp-san!!" (Y/n) yelled in excitement  and ran towards Garp

"Grandpa!!" Luffy yelled in horror of seeing his relative

"Ahh! It's the old man!!" Ace yelled trying to run away

"Who is this old man?!" Sabo yelled

"Will you runts stop screaming?!" Dadan appeared from behind a wall.

The cabin was then full of complete chaos. There were screams of fear, confusion and happiness as all of them moved themselves outside to be in front of the cabin.

~Outside~

"Hahahaha! How is my sweet and favorite future marine?!" Garp said, as he lifted (Y/n) in his arms. He was full of joy in seeing the young girl.

"I am getting strong!! I am even stronger than Ace!!" (Y/n) responded to the old man's question

"You only won that time cuz you got lucky! Just you wait! Once I become a pirate I will beat you!" Ace yelled

"Don't you dare!!" Garp yelled at the boy and gave him one of his signature Fists of Love.

"Ouch!! Watch it old man!!" Ace yelled at Garp after being hit.

"Hey Gramps, we think (Y/n) ate a devil fruit!!" Luffy said, changing the topic.

"Eh? Really? What did you get?" Garp turned and asked the girl.

"That is what we were trying to figure out! All that we concluded is that I ate it a few days ago." (Y/n) explained to the adult

"And how did you all figure out that (Y/n) acquired a devil fruit?" Garp asked all the kids

"Well, sir, we were on our way back here and she started singing a song-"

"A weird song!!" Ace interrupted Sabo, who was explaining

"Stop interrupting people!!" Garp yelled at Ace

"Well, continuing on. The song had a command and we just kinda followed it. It was like mind control." Sabo finished the story.

"It might be a mind controlling fruit, but you just have to use it more and see how to control it." Garp informed the girl next to him

(Y/n) let the information sink into her brain. The girl needed to figure out how she could control her devil fruit and see how it could be of use in the future for when she becomes a marine and help other people.

"But for now just enjoy your youth and have fun. And remember; me and Tsuru will be there to start training you in just a few years." Garp told the girl, putting a hand on the top of the girls head.

"Grandma will surely be excited to hear about my powers!!" (Y/n) exclaimed to the man

"Oh, that reminds me. Tsuru wanted me to give you this." Garp took out from his pocket a silver necklace with an oval charm in the middle and gave it to the girl.

"Ahh! Thank you, Garp-san." (Y/n) took the necklace in her hand to inspection it.

As she took a closer look at it, (Y/n) noticed that the oval shape of the necklace was a lock and can be opened. As she slowly opened the locket, she saw a picture of her and her mother. The picture was taken in a sunny day. Both the mother and the daughter were smiling at the camera. (Y/n) was sitting on her mother's lap while her mother held her close with her arms around her.

While staring at the picture, (Y/n)'s eyes began to water. It seemed that her grandmother wanted the little girl to remember her mother and to always have her close.

"Can you thank grandma for me, Garp-san? Tell her I really love it." The girl said to Garp as she held the necklace close to her heart. Now she had the necklace to always have with her.
