Izuku sits on the doctor's chair, just a little bit shocked, maybe a little happy, no-scratch that, a lot more shocked.

Never did he, nor his father, expect to be told that he has a analysis quirk.

His father makes the first move, looking towards his son. Izuku begins to vibrate in his seat and Hisashi chuckles lightly.

Izuku's always loved analysis. His mother, just before she passed away, taught him how. She used to be a quirk analysts herself. So now, he walks in her own footsteps a little bit closer.

Hisahi looks back at the doctor, and opens his mouth to speak.

"Sorry, but could I just ask how he has an analysis quirk? None of mine nor his mother's family had anything to do with mental quirks. Especially not analysis,"

The doctor takes a minute to process the question and translate his response out of gibby gabby science terms and make it sound more English.

"About that. Quirk Scientist and quirk doctors have been working together lately to figure this out. So far, we believe It can also be based on the ambitions and hopes of the child and the parent. I take it that this is the case here as well."

Hisahi just nods, not wanting to think of his wife. He's always grieved for her, missing the sight her beautiful green eyes and her silky long green hair that felt like Jt was made of real silk.

Her circular white glasses she wore when working, the way her voice sounded confident on the phone talking to scientists and other quirk specialists, the way she'd wave goodbye like a queen waving in courtesy on her way to I-Island.

The things Hisahi could continue to go on and on about her, proving his own devotion of love towards the lady. And as of right now, he was left with her child, the child that perfectly resembles her.

Hisahi snaps out of his train of thought, and turns back to his sun, who now looks like he's on the near edge of exploding.

"Dad! I can be like mom now! You always said she was super helpful, right?! Now I can be too! Me and Kacchan!" He continues to vibrate while shaking his poor father's arm.

"Alright, we'll go to the park and meet with Mitski and Marasu and you can play with Katsuki outside. Deal?"

"Mm..ice cream after?" Izuku asked him.

"Ice cream after," Hisahi says, and seals the deal between the two.

"You two have a great rest of your day. And congrats kid. Your mother was an amazing person, I hope you grow to be like her. Good luck," the doctor fairwells them, and the father-son duo waves him goodbye.
