Chaewon was a member of the former South Korean-Japanese girl group IZ*ONE. IZ*ONE was co-managed by Off The Record Entertainment in South Korea and AKS in Japan. During her time in IZ*ONE, Chaewon was under Woollim Entertainment. She left Woollim in 2021 after IZ*ONE's disbandment.
