Prologue

The sirens of the police cars and yelling are heard in the distance as the y/h/c child cried, hugging their friend.

"I'm so proud of you, y/n." They said as they stroked your hair. Hugging them tighter you buried your head deeper.

"Had you not encouraged me... they would have still beat me... thank you."

"No worries, I love you, after all, we will always be together, right?"

"I'm going to move in with my uncle and aunt outside Tokyo... I don't wanna go without you! "

"It's okay, we will meet again." You looked up at him smiling at you.

"You are my hero." You said while looking at them, their eyes widening, smiling even more they pull you more into the hug, whispering, "I will always protect you, and so let's get married when we are old enough."

Nodding up at them, you smiled, before hearing your uncle saying your name and moving towards you, telling you it's time to come home. He was shocked, he was beyond shocked at what his brother and sister-in-law did to a child. Originally he also lived in Tokyo, however, he wanted you to leave for at least a couple of years so you can recover and heal those old scars and only create good memories when you come back. He was happy you opened up to him about this with the help of your friend. He was truly grateful.

Looking back at your friend you smile, "I love you and will come back for you, Iza-chan!" You yelled before running to your uncle and holding his hand, waving at your friend.

This made him pause, and when he finally saw you turn around you, he looked down, teary eyes appearing. I love you too, Y/n, please don't leave me. Standing up he looked at the hell hole that you used to live in, clenching his fists as he remembered the bruises and tears you had when coming to him.

I will protect you, and I will make you my Queen, Y/n.

2000: the two best friends sent letters to one another consistently for the past 4 years, Y/n was excited to see him after her uncle and aunt decided she was ready to move on, and so they traveled back to Tokyo.

Having come back to Tokyo, she and her best friend spent the time together all the time, and he introduced his friend to her and she hit it off well with them. The three became good friends together and were inseparable.

2001: the mother was freed after 5 years, the court stated that her crime was in that she participated by watching, this was a brutal case and she couldn't be off the hook and was sentenced to a few years, unlike the father. Those few years were not enough for most people for the wrongdoings. Izana Kurokawa, now 13, knew that wasn't the case. He remembered how you broke down and told him everything when you were kids, and the shock on your face when your uncle said she was free. He didn't want this monster to come in contact with you when you started being happy.

This was the year Izana Kurokawa goes to juvie for murder.
