"Next." The worker stated, looking at Dream and George. They desperately got on, ready to move.

As a few minutes had passed by, the boys were stuck at the top while they loaded new people on the ride. Dream looked out into the ocean, seeing the small waves forming and the smell of the salt water making the view more enjoyable. He inhaled the air, with a big smile on his face.

"Dream." George cut in, breaking Dream out of his trance. He looked over at the doe eyed boy "Do you mind if I ask you something?"

"Go for it." Dream answered, shifting into a more comfortable position.

"You don't go out much, do you?" George followed, a small grin forming on his face. Dream let out a small laugh.

"Is it that obvious?" He asked, squinting his eyes out of embarrassment.

"A little bit." George laughed. "Why haven't you been out?" Dream looked at him, debating whether or not he trusted George enough to open up to him or not. Dream was never one to be open with anyone, I mean, he stopped being open to Sapnap, his best friend, basically his brother. "You're not like, a murder or anything are you?" George jokingly asked, breaking the tension.

"God no!" Dream defended. "I uh.." He trailed off looking out into the ocean. George followed his eyes and then looked back at him. "I just... it's complicated." Was all Dream could say. He just couldn't find it in him to be open with George.

"I understand. You don't have to tell me in detail about your life. I mean, we did just meet." He replied. Dream could tell George was understanding, and that made dream want to try and open up, but he didn't want to risk it, not until he got to know George better.

"So." Dream swallowed, sitting up a bit. "Quackity and Karl are some great people, they're a bit idiotic like you, but great people." George chuckled, shaking his head. "How did you meet them?"

George stared into Dream's piercing green eyes, he studied Dream's features, he noticed how flawless he looked in the moonlight, and how his dirty blonde hair fell perfectly on his head. George wanted to tell Dream everything, he made him feel comfortable. So, George did just that.

"Well." George began, taking a deep breath. "I was pretty privileged as a kid, I guess, but my house was my own personal hell. I didn't get to go out, or make friends my age. So, one night I snuck out. I went to a beach, it was sort of..." George trailed off, trying his best to describe it.

"A safe escape." Dream finished for him. George looked at him with a shocked expression. "I have something like that as well." George let a small smile appear on his face.

"That's where I met Alex, sorry, I mean Quackity. We kind of just clicked, you know? After a while, he brought Karl along, and the three of us became inseparable. Then, when we were old enough we got a place together, and it made me realize how lucky I really had it. They're my family, I don't know where I'd be without them." George stated, basically whispering at the end of his speech.

Hearing George's story made Dream think about his relationship with Sapnap. He loved Sapnap with all his heart, he was his brother, he would do anything for him. Then, Dream began to feel a sense of guilt. He felt guilty for blocking Sapnap out of his life, without any excuses.

"Hey, Dream." George broke Dream out of trance, placing his hand on Dream's shoulder. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I just..." Dream said in response, unsure if he should open up to George. He wanted to, considering George was so honest and open with him. Then, Dream had remembered the conversation he had with Sapnap on the car ride here. He wanted to change, to be a new and improved Dream.

"I've just been an idiot lately with Sapnap." Dream let out a heavy breath, feeling his chest getting heavy. "He's like family to me, and he's helped me out alot, and lately, I've been nothing but a dick to him."

"What do you mean?" George questioned. The sudden shift from the ferris wheel moving, scared the boys slightly, looking at each other and laughing it off.

"I'm not exactly what you call stable, I have a lot going on in my head, and it fucks with me, and keeps me up at night. At one point, it got so bad that I would have really bad nightmares, I mean I would wake up in a puddle of sweat, having a panic attack," Dream didn't notice he was shaking his legs from his nerves until George gently placed his hand on Dream's knee, making Dream relax a bit.

"I would run to Sap's room, sitting on his bed and just talking about the nightmare with him, and he would have a way of calming me down every time. Then, randomly I just... I just stopped running to him, and I stopped being open with him. He tries reaching out everyday, but I just don't, and I feel so goddamn guilty about it." Dream looked out to the open ocean, trying his hardest to hold back his tears.

"I'm sure Sapnap understands Dream." George assured him, he wanted to tread this topic lightly, he didn't want to trigger Dream. "He loves you just as much as you love him, and I'm sure he understands you're going through alot and you'll need some time before you open up again. But, even if you don't, it's not your fault, everyone reacts differently to mental health."

Dream stared at George who was staring back at Dream, admiring every word he just said. Dream hadn't opened up to anyone in months, and here he was, spilling his life to a stranger he met only a few hours ago. Something about George's words made Dream more relaxed, and he could feel his heartbeat slowing down.

Before the two knew it, the ferris wheel had come to a stop, and the ride was over. "Hey lovebirds." Karl yelled out to their friends. Dream and George quickly broke out of their trance, quietly clearing their throats as they exited the ride.

Dream stayed behind with Sapnap, a smile on his face. He had felt good, he felt like he had started to change, the way he said he wanted too. Sapnap noticed the big grin on his face, and nudged him gently.

"What's up with you?" Sapnap questioned. This was the opportunity Dream wanted with Sapnap in order to open back up with him. So, he started talking.

"I uh, opened up to him." Dream answered, smiling proudly.
