"It's so dark already Shardul. Instead of creating this suspense, aap mujhe bata kyu nhi dete." Ishika requested politely, though she knew its futile.
"We are almost there madam, please wait kar lo." Shardul said.
"Ye almost.." Ishika murmured stomping her closed fist on her leg.
Soon, they reached the place.
"Finally the almost is over." Ishika said glaring.
"Yeah." he said forwarding his hand for her to hold.
"Atleast batao toh, where are we?" She said as looked around will walking with him. All she could sense was that it was ruin of some fort, that emitted the vibes of Portuguese architecture, and it would otherwise look a bit spooky, but as of now it was lit with pretty little lanterns.
"This is Fort Bassein." he said himself looking around. He himself looked amused. "I can't believe that they enhanced its beauty 100 times." he said in a low tone.
Fort Bassein is a ruined fort of the Vasai, near Palghar. The structure was formally christened as the Fort of St Sebastian in the Indo-Portuguese era.
