Aurora Luna Santiago has spent most of her life living in Australia with her mum, she spends at least three months with her father a year per the agreement of the divorce papers.
During her childhood, she quickly became close friends with Cleo Setori, Lewis McCartneyand Emma Gilbert, the four were fast friends, always together. Aurora told the girls and Lewis of her childhood about the divorce of her parents, how it affected her, made her scared to fall in love.
They added another friend into the friendship group, Rikki Chadwick, after stealing a boat they headed into the open sea and quickly became stranded, they came across a cave that turned them into mermaids. With this secret the four grew closer than before, each girl gifted with their own open abilities. For some unknown circumstances, Aurora was gifted the ability to use the other girls abilities along with her producing water from thin air, her very own ability.
Aurora heads back to Forks for her three months, she attracts the attention of the Cullen family and her secret is put at risk, Aurora can't help by wonder. Who are the Cullens?
