Once it was in his hands, he flipped it open, and held his free hand a few inches above the pages. Intrigued, I watched carefully. Soon the pages started flipping on their own, revealing the glowing blue symbols.

"Whatcha doing?" I asked.

"Putting spells in it. What's a spell book without any spells?"

"Smart ass...." I muttered under my breath.

Closing my spell book, Seth looked at me smirking, "I could turn you into a donkey you know?"

Sighing in defeat, I decided it was best to not respond. I wanted to make it home as, well a human.

Shortly after I accepted defeat, Seth grabbed my wrist and held his other hand above it. Hoping this was what I was thinking it was, I kept still, not wanting to mess him up. Soon a blue glow started to appear on the top of my hand. I glanced up a Seth's focused face and stared in shock. His dark eyes are now a bright blue; the exact blue that's glowing on my hand.

He must have noticed my staring because he soon blinked causing his eyes to return to original color. I felt my hand be released and looked down in excitement.

There was no longer a blue glow emitting from my hand. There wasn't anything on it. I looked at Seth for explanation.

"It only shows up when you use magic. That is until you no longer need to help to control your magic."

I nodded, understanding what I was told. I glanced back at my hand in excitement, thinking of what it may look like. Those thoughts were quickly pushed to the side when Seth started to ask me something.

"Are you ready to learn how to use spells?"

Flailing my head up and down, I waited patiently for him to begin the lesson. This might be one that I don't almost fall asleep in.

Seth explained that in order for me to use my magic, I need to focus on my magic aura. My magic aura is like a part of my soul that makes me the sorceress I am. Auras come in pretty much every color, mine is apparently purple. Once I'm focused on my aura I can use spells; which all I have to do for that is think about what I'm trying to do.

Once he was done with explaining everything, a part of me understood it all perfectly, while the other part of me couldn't comprehend any of it. Hoping that was good enough, I told Seth I understood everything he said.

"Good. Since you seem to be good, how about we start putting your new mark to use?"

I sighed. Don't get me wrong I was hyped to start using spells, but I didn't want to leave Nicole and Lily for much longer.

"Zelda? You okay? I figured you would be jumping up and down by now."

"Well.... I promised my friends that I would leave here early to hang out with them, since we technically all have off today."

"So you want to leave here now?"

"Kinda..."

"Okay, you can leave early today-"

"Thanks, Seth. I owe you one!" I said as I began to dash out of the room.

"Wait one minute!" Seth shouted stopping me in my tracks. "I want to teach you at least one spell today."

I walked back over to him and listened to the explanation. The spell he told me to look at was a cooking spell. He must have known I can't cook. Looking at the spell in my spell book, I realized my first idea was wrong; he's teaching me this spell because it's one of the easiest practical spells.
