Meaning: It looks like this is a personal song, so I will explain what I think it meant to her. It sounds like in the first verse when she became famous and made a name for herself, that was when the press starting talking bad and spreading rumors. She thinks she deserves better because she worked hard to be where she is. She tells them to "walk in her shoes" because they don't know what she's like so it's just mean to say lies. She thinks they need to know about her if they want to say stuff. I think she made this song to call them out.
Moral: Don't let anyone lie about anyone. And people who support it by laughing or agreeing, they are just plain stupid! Do feel free to call them out like Fergie did.
