One Week In L.A (Celebrity AU)

Chapter [9]

Luz POV

Amity and I continued to walk the trail paved out by the park. It was very relaxing and we held hands the entire time. We pretty much walked in comfortable silence, every now and starting a short conversation. As we continued to walk I saw an ice cream truck. I let out a squeal of excitement before dying of embarrassment.

“Oh, my God that was so embarrassing” I mumbled under my breath, “I thought it was cute” Amity replied startling me. “Did you want some ice cream “ Amity asked, too embarrassed to say anything I just nodded frantically while my face turned into a deep shade of crimson red.

“Okay, let’s go” Amity stated with a chuckle as we headed to the ice cream truck. “What do you have taste for” Amity asked, “oh don’t worry I can pay for myself” I  insisted. “No way, I was the one who asked you out remember” she stated shyly. How could I forget I passed out (again) “Okay, but on our next date I’m paying for everything.

“ I said causing Amity to blush when I said “next date.”  “We shall see Ms. Noceda, we shall see” Amity stated causing us both to laugh. “This is sweet and all, but are you going to order or not?” The cashier asked annoyed causing us both to blush. “Uhm one ice cream sandwich please” I stated still blushing in embarrassment “and, uhm one chocolate dipped please” Amity added.

We got our ice cream and decided it was getting late so we began walking the path back to its entrance. “Can I walk you to your car,” I asked politely being surprisingly bold. “Are you sure? It’s pretty far” Amity stated, “I don’t mind” I replied flashing her a smile and her face turned  red. “Are you okay? Do you have a fever?” I asked worried about the sudden amount of red on her face.

“Y-yeah, I’m fine” she replied as we continued to walk to her car “goodnight” I say when we arrived to her vehicle. “Wait, do you have a ride home?” Amity asked before I could walk away “Uhm, no I was just going to take the bus” I replied. I could tell she tensed up, and started nervously taping her finger on the car door. “D-do y-you m-maybe wantaridehome” Amity asked. It took me a second to process her question before I replied because she had asked it so fast.

“Thanks for the offer, but I wouldn’t want to burden you” I replied awkwardly. “Are you sure, it’s getting late, I wouldn’t want something to happen to you.” Amity stated skeptical, “are you sure you won’t mind?” I asked “not at all, I enjoy your company” Amity replied as I gave her the address. As we pulled up to our destination I could see a flash of realization and sadness cross her eyes before going back to its normal intellectual stare. “You’re just visiting?” She asked failing t hide the waver in her voice, “yeah I still live in Connecticut” I replied. “I do want to move here in the future in hopes of starting a career as a show writer.” I added and I could see her eyes light up. “That’s so amazing Luz” Amity stated making me smile. “See you tomorrow Amity “ I stated as I got out her car, “goodnight Luz” Amity replied

3rd Person POV

Later that night Amity spent the entirety of it thinking of her favorite fan. And couldn’t stop thinking of worse case sicarios,  the main one being that now that Luz has fulfilled her dream of meeting Amity Blight  then she’ll forget she (Amity) ever existed.

                                                                       

And thus marks the end of day 2, I am exhausted so let's make this quick. Have a great day/morning/night
