Once upon a time, there was a sweet little girl. Her mother was fond of her and her grandmother doted on her ever more.

Once she had sewn her a hood made of red velvet. Because it suited her so well, and she wanted to wear it all the time, she came to be known as "Red Riding Alice".

One day her mother said to her, "Come Alice. Here is a piece of cake and a bottle of Milk. Take them to your grandmother. She is sick and weak, and these goodies will do her well.

"When you visit her, don't forget to greet her "Good morning," her mother told Alice.

"I won't give grandma any problems." said Alice reassuring her mother.

She took the basket that was filled with the slice of cake and bottle of milk and she left the house to visit her grandmother.
