43. Present And Future: Nick's POV

Start from the beginning

I took a quick shower and got readied in a crisp white shirt, black pants and a pair of black shoes. I quickly strapped the watch to my left wrist, sprayed my cologne and I was ready to leave my room.

I picked up my phone from the nightstand as I made my way toward the kitchen. There she was all freshened up in a green dress, I didn't know what type of dress but it had some white flowers and all that mattered was she looked gorgeous.

It's another thing she always did.

"Good morning, Nick. Evans and Sienna had sorted out their misunderstanding and they left a few minutes before. Aiden is still sleeping and so is Kia." She said enthusiastically, her eyes still focused on whatever she was cooking. I hummed as I walked closer to her. I put my right arm around her waist. Her breath hitched and I couldn't help but be amused at her reactions whenever I touched her. I pulled her closer to me. With my other hand, I turned the stove off. "So are we alone, now?"

A dark red blush spread over her cheeks as I pressed my body against hers. I placed my right hand on her cheek. It felt warm and soft. I couldn't help but smile at her shyness as I ran my thumb along her cheek. I let my fingers trace the outline of her lips as I leaned in. My lips touched hers as gentle as the feather of a gentle breeze. "Now that's a good morning," I murmured as I pulled away.

As she took a step away from me, her foot slipped. My hand immediately stretched to stable her balance."So f*cking clumsy."I chuckled as I pulled her back against me. She looked at me as if I killed her favourite dog."Don't call me clumsy. It was you who gave me that kiss that made me light-headed." As soon as she said the last words, her hand flew to her mouth and her eyes closed in embarrassment. "Oh sh*t! I blurted my thoughts again." I couldn't help but laugh at her awkwardness.

She snapped her eyes open, a scowl etched on her angelic face."Not funny." But when I didn't stop laughing, she turned away and facepalmed herself ."Someone f*cking bury me in this ground."

Instantly I pinned her against the wall," I'd like to see if they dare." My hand went to the back of her neck and her body stiffened for a fraction of a second before melting into me. "Don't say that again, Amore and I mean it." My voice was a low, firm command. I kissed her forehead softly. "It's a joke, silly." My hands began to move down her back. "I appreciate your humour, Amore but not this particular joke." My eyes went to her neck and I began to trail my fingers gently. I ran my fingers to the top of her neck and ran my fingers down to her collar bone. Her breathing was getting heavier and I could feel her chest heaving up and down as I ran my fingers lightly across her collar bone. "I would appreciate it if you don't say those words again," I said softly, my fingers gently teasing her skin.

She nodded and my hand went to her chin, tipping it up to meet my eyes."Words, Amore."

I kissed her neck and her pulse began going crazy. "I won't.", she mumbled, her voice laboured and breathless. "Good."

I released her and walked to my left and got busied with making coffee for both of us. From the corner of my eyes, I could see her calming her breath. I smirked, it had always been fun teasing her.

She fanned her face with her hand as she turned on the stove, the blush on her face still intact. I laughed again as I grabbed a mug from the cabinet and poured coffee for both of us. She went out of the kitchen, I assume to wake Aiden and Kia. While I laid the breakfast on the table that she had already finished preparing, I heard a noise coming from Kia's room.

"Haha no no Ari! Stop it!" I heard Kia giggling as I saw Arielle tickling her. She stopped as she laughed with Kia. Both of them in their own world. My heart tugged. I had never heard Kia giggle like that before she met her.

The other day when I was talking to her, explaining to her what's right and what's wrong. She made me shocked by asking if I'd marry her.

Who the hell is teaching her these things? Actually, I know who the moron is.
