Chapter 10

|| After School ||

I'm not looking forward to going to that park, but I have to.

I walk to my locker and put my stuff away.

While I walk outside of the school, I make sure to look at a clock.

3:04.

I walk out and get on the bus.

|| A Few Minutes Later ||

I get off the bus and walk into my house

I walk inside.

"Mom?"

I don't know if she's at home, or already at work.

A few seconds later she comes down the stairs.

"What is it?"

"How far is _______ Park from home?"

"It's only about a 3-minute walk, why?"

"Well, I kind of have to go there in 2 hours."

"Aww, do you have a date?"

"What, No!"

She smiled.

"Well, Have fun!" She said jokingly.

I go upstairs.

I'll just do a little homework while I wait.

|| 2 Hours Later ||

How long has it been?

I look at my alarm clock.

5:23.

It wouldn't hurt if I was early.

I sigh and get up.

Is Mom still here?

I go downstairs and see her about to leave.

"Oh, Hi sweetie!"

"Hi Mom."

"I have to go to work, so have fun with your date!"

Before I got to say anything, she was already outside and driving away.

It's not a date...

I walk outside and walk to the park.

|| A Few More Minutes Later ||

I almost got lost coming here.

Woah, this is actually really nice.

I walk to a bridge and look down at the water.

This is probably a bad place to be standing, But I don't really care right now.

Suddenly I feel a hand on my shoulder and tense up.

"(Y/N)?"

I turn around and see Michael.

"Michael? What are you doing here?"

"I'm the one who put that note in your locker."

"Oh, Okay!"

I was expecting the bullies to come.

"Why did you want me to meet you here?"

"I was wondering if we could hang out somewhere besides our houses for once."

"Okay, sure."

"So, what do you want to do?" I ask.

"Maybe we could get ice cream?"

"Sure, But I'm paying." I said and then I ran to the ice cream truck.

"Hey, no fair!" I heard Michael yell while I was running to the truck.

I reached the ice cream truck.

A few seconds later Michael reached the truck aswell.

"I beat you, So I get to pay." I said with a smile.

"Fine."

We order our ice cream and I pay.

While walking to a bench, I see (F/N) at the entrance to the park.

...

"You okay (Y/N)?"

I realized I stopped walking.

"Yeah, I'm fine."

I continued walking, Ignoring (F/N).

|| A Few Minutes Later ||

I notice it's starting to get dark out.

"I think I'm going to go home before it's completely dark out." I said.

"Okay, Bye (Y/N)."

"Bye Michael." 

As I'm walking away, I hear him run up to me.

"Actually, Wait for a second."

I turn around to face him.

"What is it?"

"I need to tell you something."

As he said that (F/N) started walking up to us.

"What?"

Just as Michael was going to say something (F/N) was right there.

"Hey (Y/N)."

Are you kidding me?

A/N: I started to run out of ideas towards the end, so I just ended it there. :']

This was honestly very hard to write for some reason-

One more thing before I end this.

I plan on actually having something happen in the next chapter just so I don't drag it out.
