"We have a lot to talk abo-"

"Oh for christ sake! I swear to god, you better not pull out those baby photos..." Harry popped his head round the corner as he spoke, making me jump slightly from how loud his voice was, he smirked at me, knowing what he had done. Tit. He disappeared as his mum laughed at him.

"I wasnt' even thinking of doing that, but now I am. Thanks love." Tricia's voice pulled me away from looking in the direction Harry just was, her words making me laugh. "I'll make sure to show you them later with Rosie once she's a little more alive than she is now. She had quite the bit to drink last night I believe." Well that makes two of us then.

"I know how she feels, my hangover was pretty horrid this morning too, still killing me on the inside." I let out a shaky breath, not wanting her to think bad of me. Harry snorted out a laugh as he joined us in the living room again, passing us as he passed a glass of lemonade and blackcurrant juice to Cormac, warning him to be careful with it. Cormac's new favourite thing to try is holding a glass the same way Harry does, where his thumb doesn't curve around the glass like anyone else normally holds a glass. This has resulted in many spilt drinks and shattered glasses recently. Harry then made his way back towards where I'm sat, plonking himself down on the arm of the sofa to my left, his right foot coming up to rest next to my thigh.

Looking back at his mum, Harry took a sip of his tea before settling the mug on his thigh. "Did you two have a good night last night then? Josh told me that he and Ro were out last night with their friends." Adrian looked over towards the three of us, sharing a look with his wife that lead to wretching sounds from the man child besides me. Tricia's face burned red, which confirmed what I was thinking the look meant. Adrian and Tricia had a great night last night. I couldn't help but laugh at Harry's discomfort, thankful that it's something I've not had to worry about from my parents.

"You two are disgusting, vile creatures." Harry's body shivered in disgust, a look on his face that seems like it will resurface any time he will look at his parents.

"Oh shut up you child. Like you two haven't taken advantage of an empty house, hmm..." Adrian shook his head, laughing at his wife's words. My cheeks flared up, hoping that Harry doesn't share any information about our sex life, well more the fact that we haven't exactly ventured down that road yet. Thankfully I see Harry shake his head and put his hands out to stop his mum from talking.

"Let's not go down that road. Let's save us all the awkwardness."

"So..." Turning to look at Tricia, whilst also focusing on chopping up some onions, I waited for her to continue. "What's Harry like with Cormac at home? I mean, it's obvious that they're two peas in a pod, just looking at them, but what is he really like?"

Looking back at the onions now, still chopping away I couldn't help but smile at all the little moments that come rushing to mind thinking of the pair.

"He's amazing with him, like... Really amazing. From the get go, Harry has always made an effort with Cor, teaching him new tricks for football, teaching him video games, helping him with his homework. It's actually got to the point where cor won't ask for me for help anymore, he just goes straight to Harry. And if Harry isn't round my house, cor will ask me to call him, especially for maths homework." Tricia's face brightened with such pride for her son, a look of pure happiness.

"Oh, you have no idea how happy I am to hear that. When he and Katie split up, I had no hope of him settling down, I honestly thought that would be him going down the, uh..." She quickly looked around to make sure no one else was within hearing range, before whispering "man whore route." I let out a soft chuckle at her words.
