Hybrid 8.2: Hybrids? Forgive?

"What am I doing here?" you asked

"Recovering." Your father said "Before you interrupt me again I want to say something. First, I asked your mother news about you and she always told me you were fine. I sent her money for your expenses and she always said she bought you clothes and stuff. When I came to the apartment she told me she sent you to a school abroad and even made a fake form with your face and everything.

I tried going there, but it was a private institute for rich human kids. Your mother told me you didn't wish to meet me anymore thus I didn't." he ended

You remained quiet. Tears of frustration raised in your eyes, but you blinked several times chasing them away. You looked at the huge mansion and put a hand on your temple.

"Yeah." You said "Okay."

He choked on his coffee when he heard that. You weren't shocked about your mother's evil act. It didn't even surprise you anymore. You looked at your bandaged palms. You had tightened your fist so much that it bled.

"So?" you said after a long silence

"So, I want to apologize. I want you to stay here and live well. I don't expect you to forgive me for leaving you alone with...that...with that woman." He refrained himself from cursing "I will pay for your tuition as well as your medical bills. The doctor told me you had a weak heart and body. Thus, I want to support you in that way. Furthermore, we were photographed outside the cafe somehow despite the precautions. 

Thus, my enemies know about you. You could put the cafe and more importantly yourself in danger, if you stay there. Solar agreed of course but she will visit you whenever she wishes." He ended

You looked at him for a second. You didn't really have a choice here, but you didn't want to live here at all. 

One because your father would probably become like your mother: symbol of their past failed relationship. 

Second, your father was once again in love and you didn't want to spoil that.

"I'll just rent another place and find another job." You said after a minute of silence "Your offer is really heartwarming and everything, but I don't think it is a good idea at all. I'm probably as uncomfortable as you and Madame living here with both of you." You bowed "I will take care of myself like-"

"You didn't take care of yourself though?" Chaeyoung said

You widened your eyes a little at the words.

"I'm alive." You shrugged

"But you're sick. Your body won't last very long if you continue like this." She countered

"How is that any of your business?" you sighed and your father narrowed his eyes at you

"You are my soon to be daughter of course it is my business." She said with a huge smile

"I don't need a mother. Much less a father." You snapped at her before closing your eyes "Just give me back my clothes and I'll take a taxi back to the cafe." I sighed taking a step back

"I burned them." The tiger hybrid said as I raised an eyebrow at him "your old clothes...if you can call that clothes...I burned them."

For a second, you wondered what you did to deserve all that. I was born in this world right? You chuckled bitterly. 

Yeah. 

You being born was definitely as mistake. You must have been someone horrible in my past life. 

You were tired now. 

You had two days off work and you had planned to cuddle with one of the cat in bed for the whole day.
