Chapter 9 (Four POV)

After playing truth or dare, we go on Netflix and watch more movies and eventually all fall asleep.

I'm the first one to wake up at about 7:00 am. Tris fell asleep with her head in my lap.

I noticed that during the sleepover she did a lot of flirtatious things around me. She did some things that were a bit sexual too.

This is the girl I met at the mall not too long ago. I know that if me and Tris do end up in a relationship, I'm going to stay zealous to it. I've never felt this away about a girl before, especially a girl as special as Tris, and I definitely wouldn't want to mess something like that up.

I shift my body, not trying to wake Tris up from her deep slumber.

She looks so peaceful when she's sleeping.

Tris moans and her head starts moving.
"Mmm... oh god. What time is it?"

"Around 7:00 am." I say sluggishly.

I stand up and walk around Shauna's body on the floor.

"Where are you going?" She's curious.

"Going for a quick walk before they all wake up." I say.

"Can I come?" She asks.

"Yeah."

She puts on her pajama pants, which really are just a pair of gray leggings. And puts her shoes on and follows me. We walk in silence listening to the birds chirping. I can she likes nature. She shivers and I look over at her and ask if she's okay.

"Yeah it's just kinda windy right now."
I have on a black hoodie which I take off and drape over her shoulders. She smiles when I do this.

"Thanks."

"You're welcome."

As we're walking, I take her through a shortcut in the woods. She almost trips over a log and I catch her before she falls, she looks up at me and then looks away with a shy smile on her face, her cheeks turn red quickly.

"Thank you." She says with slight embarrassment in her voice.

"You're welcome." I say.

We walk around for a little more and end up in Zeke and Uriah's backyard. The sun is starting to come up. Red and orange and hot pink cover the sky. I watch the colors light up Tris's face.

Beautiful.

She catches me looking at her, "What?" She asks.

Tell her, Tobias. Tell her.

"You just look so pretty." I say, stammering out.

She blushes, moves her hair out of her face and says, "You really think so Four?" Her smile is wide and sends warmth all throughout my body. "Why do you say that?" She says, still smiling.

"Because you are, I don't know how I did it because I never develop feelings this quickly. But you're beautiful. Tris Prior. Ever since that day at the mall, I've wanted you. Your smile, your laugh, your everything. I know it's a bit sudden because it wasn't that long ago when I first met you. Before I met you I never knew what it was like to look at someone and smile for no reason. But I've fallen head over heels." I say, pouring my feelings out of my heart. The look on her face gives me even more energy racing through me.

"Aww Four!" She says and hugs me.

I did it.

I told Tris how I feel about her!
