Chapter Seven

"Bonjour! You're favorite daughter and granddaughter is home!" I yelled through the house hearing my father respond. "You're our only daughter and granddaughter" my father sweat dropped making me giggle. "Oh, hello Illumi" my grandfather said patting his shoulder.

"Lumi you're always so awkward" I laughed shaking my head going to greet my mother. "Hola mother~" I sang our "Miko why are you saying hello in different languages" my mom dead panned as I shrugged. "Can't I just be happy to see you guys after so long?!" the four of them stared me down

"Fine fine, I have to go to York New for the auction Chrollo hired me to take out the scorpions....." my voice trailed off as a smirk was plastered on their faces. "Ara ara? Miko, make us proud although we don't have to tell you that now do we?" Grandfather said with an amused twinkle in his eyes

I grinned at them "not at all I created new techniques thankfully they work like a charm" I said gesturing them to follow me to the training room. "So I saved that guy in the torture room so I could show you guys this it's kind of like a puppet technique so I call it puppeteer using this chip I can control whoever I insert it into but they'll die after it works on the dead as well" I told my personal butler to bring the prisoner who in reality was just some dude who tried to "have his way" with me before I left for the exam

Conjuring a small chip I placed it in the back of the guys neck and walked back standing next to my parents. I pointed to a dagger in the other side of the room before speaking. "Stab yourself with that dagger 27 times in the chest" an amused smile game on my parents and grandparents face as the man did as told. Illumi who's already witnessed this just stood there arm around my shoulder as the man picked up the dagger and stabbed himself.

He began to cry out in pain before I spoke again, using another technique a voice technique I got from Allison from Umbrella Academy. "I heard a rumor" my right eye turning completely purple and glowing. "That you shut your mouth until you die" I really loved using that technique. The problem is in order to use it I have to be looking at the target and within one meter of them. Sometimes I need to make direct eye contact but that's not all the time.

Not too long later the man was dead surround in his own blood as a reliving sigh escaped from me. "Well that was quite a show you put on Miko" mother said as I bowed jokingly. "What was that other thing you did?" Grandmother asked "it's rumor I got it from Umbrella Academy from one of the characters named Allison when she says I heard a rumor she's able to make someone do whatever she wants" I we walked out as I explained all the new techniques I created walking to the dinning room for dinner.

"So Miko how long will you be staying?" father asked as I looked at Illumi for an answer. "Well she does have to be in York New in about two to three months are we're going to my house when we leave here so a week?" He questioned not too sure making me roll my eyes. "We'll stay for a week but I have a job tomorrow that needs to be completed by next week but I'd prefer to do it now" I yawned as the butlers took away the dirty dishes

"You're clearly tired Miko, call it a night and go to bed" grandfather said as we all stood up saying our good nights before going our separate ways. "Love, you really need to get more sleep" Illumi said putting his book that he was reading down on the night stand. "Well I couldn't sleep during the exam aside from the fourth phase Lumi" I sighed getting under the covers causing Illumi to pull me into him

"Which is exactly why you need sleep" he said flicking my forehead. "Um ow what the hell" I said rubbing my head where he flicked me. "Take this" he handed me a little white pill, "are you trying to poison me?" I asked sweat dropping. He deadpanned "you're....immune to poison love....." I made an 'oh' face before he explained. "Oh my god Miko it's a sleeping pill it'll keep you sleep for 8-12 hours" I nodded taking the pill before we both drifted off into dreamland as the pill kicked in thirty minutes later
