Chapter 7

The last day of vacation...overall Adia enjoyed today, she was able to participate in an auction with the money she got, was able to buy a gift for Cale, Ron, and his son Beacrox...and last but not the least...enjoy throwing money! She saved a big portion of it into her savings of course

And right now Adia is trying to see what type of wine or alcohol Cale would like... 'does Cale like reading? What type of novels would he be interested in? Since he likes sweets I'll just empty that popular bakery...I have enough money' were the thoughts swirling around Adia's head

Right now she could pass as a noble considering what she's wearing and the aura she gave off

"I guess it's time...to go back"

"...your finally back" Cale said standing in front of the gates

"Yes it seems so young master" Adia replied

"You've bought a lot of things it seems...wait where did you even get that much money to buy some of those...and most of all.....why the fuck do you have the same hair color as me...did you dye it?" Cale asked, waiting for Adia to explain

"Well first things first, you see young master when I was having my one week vacation I stumbled into a cave full of gold and since no one owed it I decided to took it upon myself to trade and sell it to get coins, I shall explain more about the things I bought once we're inside young master and....red was my natural hair color" to say the least Cale was flabbergasted, no not because of her impossible to happen story but because Adia said it in one full breath

Both of the redheads decided to went in and the other decided to accompany Adia to her room "young master this is unnecessary-"

"Shut up" Cale cut Adia off before it became another long-ass essay

When they finally arrive inside Adia's room, Adia as a good aunt...not that Cale knew, started a conversation

"So young master...I didn't know what you'd like so I brought 3 high-quality Alcohol, 4 bottles of wine two of them were said to be sweet, and an entire bakery worth of sweets that came from the most popular bakery in the capital...though I did not see a reason why I should remember the name so I didn't"

"....what" now Cale was even more dumbstruck

'Holy shit Cale looks cute with that reaction- Adia focus'

"Is there something wrong young master?...oh! I also bout a lot of books mainly novels since I didn't know what you like and-"

"STOP" with that loud shout Adia stopped her talking

"W-why...are you doing this...for a trash like me"

"...who said you were"

"What do you mean 'who said you were?' Everyone thinks so!!! Not long ago you also think that too don't you!?"

Adia has thought of Cale Henituse as nothing but a piece of trash...but Kim Soo Jie did not and since Kim Soo Jie is now possessing Adia Thames's body...

"I do not young master...and I never will no matter how much you try to act like one"

"What...."

They both fell into silence...but not the awkward or uncomfortable silence...It was a comforting one. A boy who desperately needs someone to rely on and a girl who can finally protect something dear to her...and for the redhead girl that was a wonderful feeling that she had never felt before

"What makes you think I'm gonna read"

"Then you can throw it away"

"Wha-...just bring all of them to my room later"

"Hm? Including the alcohol and sweets?"

"Y-yeah" Cale stuttered, if you look closely you can see his ears that's as red as his hair 'ah...he's blushing...how cute' Adia thought

'Maybe this time...I can finally know what he meant by me being his lifeline' Adia thought...a distant thought that will one day come to fruition.... 'I wonder how he is now' was the last thing she thought before breaking into a small smile while looking at Cale's blushing face

Surprisingly no rumors about her interaction with Cale were leaked out but she didn't question it cause if she does...Adia would get a headache rather than an answer thanks to Ron, talking about Ron it seems he likes the gift Adia gave him since from that day on he has the pocketknife with him at all times

Ron also said that his son greatly appreciates the waterproof gloves Adia gave him...Ron is 51%(*laughs in orv) suspicious of Adia now but for some reason, his gut instinct told him to at least trust her...so he did

Bonus scene:

"Why are you wearing gloves..." Cale asked curiously

"Ah....that we'll some stuff just happens" Adia responded

"...tch so fucking reckless and for what!....give me your hand"

"I-pardon?"

Since Adia was processing this she did not notice that Cale was already embracing Adia's hands

'...she must have been hurt by something...I bet there are scratches....why is she so stubborn damnit!' Cale thought, misunderstanding the fact that Adia was just trying to both hide her newly attained ancient power and also trying not kill anyone by turning them into gold

When Adia finally came back to reality she felt iffy with the scene in front of her '...why do I feel like there was a misunderstanding here...'
